The only way a movie based on a video game should be made

Apparently (why did no one tell me this?) Capcom and Sony Picture Entertainment Japan are working on a CGI Resident Evil movie! It was announced back in October and planned for release in 2008 (I'm hoping a worldwide release and not Japan only ala Final Fantasy: Advent Children). THIS could be very awesome because...well it is the actual characters from the video games, Leon and Claire!
