I found this slip of paper in one of our Young Adult books awhile back (I'm kicking myself for not writing down which title it was). It tugs at my librarian heartstrings so I thought I would share it with you:

If you're having trouble reading the handwriting, here is what it says:

Hello fellow reader! :)
I have read this book in 2005 when you read to this point I expect you will like it very much.
I would think you would be around my age 14 boy even though this is a boy and girl novel I luve reading and

I know! It starts off sort of silly but then you get this moment of "EVERYONE SHOULD BE FREE TO READ!" and I'm like aaaaaaaaw who are you???

Haha, that's cool. One time this girl found $5 in a book and told me some one lost it, so she gave it to me. But then I looked at it, and someone had written on it, saying it was a reward for whoever read the book next.

aw that is so cute! Next time I'm writing down what book I find this stuff in! I actually have a whole drawer of random bits of paper I've found in books. (My running gag at work is finding playing cards as bookmarks and telling me co-workers that one day I will have a full deck!!!)
