Spore and Sezoidy

orangerfulSPORE has a release date! September 2008. That's good because I should be almost done with my MLS by then so I will have free time again.
This game reminds me of a project I had in like 2nd grade. We were studying the planets in the solar system and we had to create an alien to live on our assigned planet. I had Venus. I created a little creature named "Sezoidy" (my mom was all about working my initials into my creature names). She had this suction cup mouth and googly eyes. I think she was light blue. I don't remember any of the science now, but there was a very detailed (wel, for a 2nd grader). I wonder if my mom still has Sezoidy. Probably not. I think some part of her was latex and I seem to have a memory of it getting dry and cracking.
If I get SPORE, the first race I will create will resemble Sezoidy. I must honor her memory!
I took so many notes for Systems Analysis that my pinky finger hurts. And I'm still not done! Ugh, only 4 more weeks of this class...then never again!!!

Actually, your project kinda reminds me of a similar project I had in school. I had a hybrid starfish/scorpion, where one of the "legs" had turned into a stinger. It hung from trees, and killed shit. Yeah, I kind like the idea of some animal that is all peaceful like ultimately getting revenge. Anyhoo, I made it from clay, and eventually one of the legs fell off. Still, it was bad ass.
You have a great idea there. I'm gonna have to recreate that sucker in spore. I've long since forgotten what I named it, so I'll have to think up something new and clever.
