Toy Fair 2008 reports are rolling in from all over. And OMG so much stuff I must have!

First, the really good news - the Starbuck action figures does not look like total ass! There are new images of her and the rest of the upcoming line at Cool Toy Review.

I think I'm going to pass on the Razor figures. Not really a big fan of the Pegasus crew and the Gina Six doesn't look very good. Its like she has a totally different face mold than the current Sixes, which seems silly!

I am a bit concerned about how the Cylon is standing. I assume this means he has some balance problems. You'd think they would have made a stand for him.

New Caprica Sharon (the first Sharon in the series) looks like poo right now. Her neck is far too wide. Something is off with Dualla's face and I cant quite place it. I think it is too round. Other than that she looks okay. The likeness on Three/D'anna Biers is really good though.

I have been trying to resist the Might Muggs figures as they are adorable but large. But I think this next wave of Star Wars figures and the new Indiana Jones figures will break me. I mean, LOOK AT INDY AND HIS DAD! And Leia with her little round buns and Yoda with his Yodaness! Just adorable!

Titanium Die Cast Indy being dragged by a truck! Hehe. That's just too amusing. Adventures Heroes are still too cute and I still must have them.

Now, I wonder when any of these figures will actually hit the shelves...

I really hope they get the Indy Adventures Heroes in stores. The only Galactic Heroes I ever see around here are the same ones over and over (Speeder Bike Luke and Leia, anything with a clone trooper, Jabba's sail barge guys, and Lando). Once in a while I find a good one, but that's only from stopping and checking the toy aisle every time I happen to be in Target or wherever. All I want is one little cartoony Indy and I'll be a happy fangirl.

Yeah, I will definately being checking Target on a regular basis for these. Our Target was ravaged today, the Star Wars figures were all off their pegs. Nothing new either. Luckily, I have my collecting club guys to help me out, we trade "want" lists and everyone tries to help each other out when they check stores (someone just picked up the "Fireside Dress" Padme figure for me). If you do have trouble finding Indys, we can always team up. :)

Speaking of Adorable Galactic Heroes, do you have the dueling RotJ Luke and Vader (with removable helmet)? I got them in my xmas stocking and I already have them.

I actually do have them! I got them at a Target in Syracuse last month when I was visiting Jeff for the weekend.

I'll definitely let you know if I spot Indys anywhere. I've seen the Lego Indy displays at Target and stuff, so I'm hoping they'll be getting other Indy toys. I'm also excited about the Lego Indy video game that's coming out, because the Star Wars one was ridiculously fun.

Actually, I saw the figure in the Toy Fair photos. I mean, it's not like it's a Heath Ledger action figure that comes with a bottle of pills, it just happens to be a character he played. Don't really think it was news worthy but I guess everything is on the internet. ;)

yeah, I don't have a real problem with it, but it seems a little unsettling because there was all this talk, right after his death when everyone was speculating, about how that role might have pushed him over the edge or something. There were clips of him talking about how intense it was and how it was consuming him and he couldn't sleep, followed by clips of Jack Nicholson saying how he had warned him, or some such thing. So even if none of that is true, the figure seems a little creepier for that reason. More so than, say, a gay cowboy figure. Hey- do they make the gay cowboy figures? I would totally buy those for a friend of mine..
