Okay, we had to use Google Video because my Cribs episode clocked in at 12:45 and YouTubes only lets you upload 10 minute videos. So, hopefully this works!

Let me give you the low-down on what this is - my Star Wars Collecting Club (DCSWCC) has a guy who likes to make videos ala MTV Cribs. A member of the club gets profiled and they get to talk about their collection. He had done 3 before this one, all officers in the club and all dudes so he decided to change it up for number 4 and do a non-officer and a female - ME!

Again, sorry about the face-making. I had no idea. I also spaz out at the end when we decide to do a Spaceballs spoof and I go a teensy bit overboard. And make sure you watch the credits for the outtakes! Enjoy!

Haha, how fun! I love that you open the toys, and don't just leave them in the packaging. I'm an opener, too - it's just more fun that way!

A.D.'s comment about having to move toys out of the way to get to books or DVDs made me laugh, because my shelves are set up the same way.

And your action figure crossover adventure at the end was funny. Yay for Firefly!

Yeah, after Toy Story 2, I can't bring myself to leave figures in their boxes. Don't want a Stinky Pete incident! And they are more fun that way. I like to play with them and I love the looks on my friends faces when they get to play with them.

Many a time I've come home to find a figure toppled. Its hard for him to sneak around in here. I know when he's been watching movies while I'm gone haha.

That thing at the end was the classic "of course I'll edit it" scenario. I went a bit crazy at the end and he KEPT IT! The goal was to show off my other fandoms though, as it is well known in the group that I am a huge Whedon fan (I even made them give me a Whedon area in our star wars forum!)

OH! and I showed your drawings off at my meeting yeterday. One of my friends was like "OMG does she do cons????" I might have to post a link to your deviant art page on the forums and see if I can drum up some business for you. ;)

OMG YOU HAVE A VOICE! NO WAI! ^_^

That was awesome! I saw the Corellian Base patch and was like, "OMG I SENT THAT TO HER!" Then I had to go back and show Joe cause he was like, "wtf?"

HA! YES! I'm happy you noticed it. It is proudly displayed in my big cabinet for all to see.

Yeah, I was thinking "what an odd introduction for all my online-only friends". But yes, I SPEAK!

This is great! Your 12 minutes and 46 seconds of fame.

The expressions seemed fine. I guess we're all used to seeing pictures of ourselves, but not video so much.

Hahahah! This was fantastic!

I never realized YouTube had a time limit. But anyway, I loved your video, especially when Buffy showed up in the end!!

I believe Dilbert coined the phrase "Nerdvana" haha. Glad you liked! I'm so happy none of my online-only friends are like "OMG YOU ARE A FREAK!" and running away. It means I have chosen wisely. ;-)

p.s. I had totally forgotten that Zooey was in Almost Famous! We watched it again the other night and I had a spaz attack and thought of you!

Also thought of you today when I had to look up an author today named "Morgan" and I said "He" and the patron was like "yeah, it's a woman" and I was like "I should have known better, I know a Morgan that's a girl" *headdesk*

Yeah, I wish I could do an all-Buffy one. Frank is going to give me the raw footage so I'll have to see if he accidentally got any shots of my Joss shrine. haha.

It is weird to see myself in action! I think we all have our own mental images of what we look like and I just had no idea...I'm not a total spaz but I'm clearly quirky. Good to know!

Now somebody call BookLand and show Jim Grady how to work the Google Video so he can see ;-)

lol you were one of my first LJ friends. XD

We're far beyond running away and arm flailing.

At least I think so.... >.> Unless we have some untapped source of freakdom somewhere... I suppose we will cross that proverbial bridge when we come to it. ;) lol

Hurrah for girl Morgans!

We will rule your puny planet! *righteous fistshake*

((I bought Flight of the Conchords on DVD -- first 12 eps -- and made my brother watch them in a marathon. heh. The DVDs are now at my brother's as his roommates finish catching up on the phenomenon that they walked in on. ))

ha- I actually thought about emailing Jim at his work email with the link to your lj. Perhaps I will do so. (note that he doesn't have a personal work email, just the store address, but someone once sent him an email this way and he was very excited about it!)

The cool thing though is it's actually cool to be a geek now a days. Nice collection. I enjoyed watching the video. I wish the Kentucky Star Wars Club had something like that. Plush C3 Yoda is one of my favorite items in my collection it and my Ewok Cookie Jar seem to get the most comments.

It's cool to be a geek, but geeks are still not cool haha. We are very lucky to have StarWarsDaddy in our group, he loves to do this stuff.

Ewok Cookie Jar, huh? Have you posted pics of that? I want to see!
