March and April are treating me fine...

Mario Kart Wii has a release date of April 27th! I am so excited, the Mario Kart games are such a good time. I loved the old 64 cartridge.

My brother brought over Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I just don't get the SSB gameplay style. I can never find my character and I tire of the button mashing. I tried it, hoping this one would be different, but no. Just not my kind of game.

Also coming the week before on April 22nd - Flight of the Conchords FULL LENGTH ALBUM!! I went ahead and bought the DVD set with my Borders gift card on Tuesday (while picking up a copy for heiland_coo's birthday gift). That show is so great.

Speaking of birthday gifts, I had 2 bonus gifts arrive this week! spitefairy hooked me up with some awesome Star Wars Lego Troopers, which I plan on playing with while procrastinating during this weekend of final exams. And jimithingy's parents sent me two studies in Battlestar Galactica books (BSG & Philosphy and Cylons in America) to prepare me for the arrival of Season 3 next week. Haven't had time to read any of the articles yet, but soon. I'm thinking I need to make an entire BSG shelf now that I have all the DVDs, some books, and action figures...ah the things I will do when I have free time.

I loved N64. Love. And I played one SSB game, and it was in a contest, and I won over sixteen, fourteen year old boys, and I was fifteen. I rather liked it. But it's rather difficult, and more of a group competition kind of thing. Interesting, though.
