random kinda day

Today, the short version:

Renewed our lease early so we could get a month of free rent (woohoo, no rent in June!)
Went to Arundel Mills with heiland_coo. We ate lunch at Baja Fresh. Neither of us had been there before. Not sure I really liked it. I prefer Chipotle. It was crazy in there though.

Saw The Other Boleyn Girl at 1:15. I shall rant about that 2 hours of my life I won't get back later. I know lots of you have seen it, anyone want to link their reviews for me so I don't have to go digging?

Oh, before the movie, some guy did one of those movie trailer survey things with me. I got to watch the trailer of some movie called "TAKEN" with Liam Neeson and Maggie Grace (who, when he asked me if I knew the name, I confused with Maggie SMITH! So embarrassing. So now they have a survey with me saying that Maggie Grace is an amazing actress...IT IS LIES! I WAS CONFUSED!). I gave the guy some feedback on the trailer. The movie looked okay. Nothing great, but Liam Neeson, always a plus.

Then we wandered the mall and spent money. I had a $10 rebate coupon for GameStop so I bought AD his very own copy of Call of Duty 4 for Xbox360, bought myself Sims 2: Freetime, and a rechargeable 360 battery. I had 2 $10 coupons for Victoria Secrets (because I have an Angel Card and it was my birthday month, I never shop there unless they send me coupons) so I bought 10 pairs of underwear (and the Spice Girls hits CD...it was only $5!). That should do me for awhile. Then we wandered over to Starbucks and got caffeine. While in the Cafe Mocha daze, we went into Best Buy. After watching OBG, all I could think about was how much BETTER Elizabeth was. They had it for $10 (seemed to be the magic number today) so I bought it.

Then I got home and the Internet was down yet again, so I did homework. My website for INFO 652 is almost done, just need to add some images. The free demo of Dreamweaver would not run on my computer so I ended up handcoding it because I do not like FrontPage anymore. I have 6 out of 7 IPL questions done, and I claimed one tonight so I just need to finish that question and that project will be finished. And I have my Final Exam for 503, which I have not started because I read the questions and said "WTF?" and put it back down. That will be Sundays project, I have decided.

Now, off to bed with me because I have to work tomorrow. There is a baseball tournament or some nonsense, which means I'll be giving all the varsity kids/parents/coaches dirty looks when I arrive because they insist on parking in the library parking lot instead of the high schools. UGH! But whatever. It will just be heiland_coo and I, so I'm sure we will just laugh it off, shake our fists, and get on with our lives.

I've found you can keep yourself fairly well-stocked in the underwear department with those free VS coupons. It's like you buy one thing from them and you get free underwear for life!

Why is your internet down so much?

It is so true, I would never buy anything from VS if they didn't send me coupons. Seriously - $25 for 5 pairs of underwear? That's a bit silly.

The message on our Internet provider's machine said they were working on something "preventative" but unless they wanted to prevent me from having email access, I'm not quite sure why it has been down so much. Seems alright now though. *crosses fingers*

Oh, and it was Statler. I actually had to consult Wikipedia because I wasn't sure!
