First figure re-arrange of 2008

So, most of today was spent organizing my shelves to accommodate the newest figures in my collection; the Star Wars Galactic Heroes Mustafar and Endor cinema scenes and the Battlestar Galactica figures. After much shuffling and over-thinking (so, is this the prequel shelf, the Empire shelf? what am I trying to say with this arrangement?), here is the end result.
new top shelf of my Star Wars cabinet:

Note the cunning use of books I dug out of my parent's house last weekend. Eh? And AD thought they would be taking up space.
Next shelf down is dominated by the Clone Wars:

Now the Cinema Scenes. The boxes doubled as playsets so I kept them together and fit them inside the cabinet. First up, Endor!

Not all of those figure came in the boxed set. I found all Endor related GHs and made them join the party.

Leia, Chewie, Chief Chirpa, Luke, and the other Scout Troopers were already in my collection.

And the Mustafar playset. Preggers!Padme and the one Clone Trooper (with the skirt on) are new, the rest I already had in some shape or form. And looking at it now, I'm not sure why I have a chorus line of troopers in front of the whole thing. I had to put them somewhere!
And now, the Battlestar Shelf!

Not quite "Galactica Actual" but just the right size for the figures I had. Anders looks much better outside the box (his neck is too thick though). I figured I might as well open "Hot Dog". I tried to switch out his bare hands with the gloved hands that came in the box and, like usual, I managed to snap the plastic! D'oh! I R STRONG!

I had a box of figure stands that came with my Star Wars display that happened to have pegs in them the same size as the BSG figures feet holes. Huzzah! You can see that Lee was particularly wobbly. Not sure what I'm going to do in July when Wave 2 arrives, but I'll worry about that in a few months (knowing DST's track record, they will bump the figures back to 2009!)
Now to decide if I want to pre-order the 'Razor' set which comes out in August. I'm not really in love with any of the characters from that special but the Retro-Cylon is pretty darn cool. Plus you can never have too many Sixes.

Date: 2008-03-31 04:53 am (UTC)Am just about to watch "Pegasus".
Completed the Endless Setlist yesterday. Surprised there wasn't permanent damage.
Kind of surprised Anders and Hot Dog have action figures.
