1. Who friended who first? I can't remember. I think you friended me and I was like "who is this?" and you told me and I was like "cool, fellow librarian and Buffy nut, how can this not go well?"
2. Hm...probably your love of nature. I think the first few posts I saw of you were your flickr photos of random critters. That and the cheshire cat's grain. ;)

5. It was sorta chance, I guess. I was in Chapel Hill, NC for grad school, and afterwards I decided that, gosh, I needed a job. So my criteria was, (1) a job I was qualified for, and (2) a place I could stand to live for a minimum of one year. (I know, I know, low standards.) These folks hired me, and Lo! here I am!

1. I friended you because you are Raven and made of awesome! Plus, you're so quiet at times, I thought maybe I'd get to see into the inner workings of your mind (you know, like in 'Earshot' when Buffy can read Oz's mind? I know thats what you're thinking!)
2. HANSON! lol. Yes, any time I hear about Hanson, here a song by Hanson, someone sneezes and it kinds sounds like "HANSON!", I think of you.
3. You seem to have very strong personal beliefs and you don't let anyone sway you either way. I'm always impressed by that. Also, you love the Joss. ;)
4. I have this vague memory of waiting outside Meade after one of the drama plays, with Damian and not really knowing you yet but already thinking "she is clearly cool". I think you guys were trying to get permission to go to Friendlys or somesuch.

1. Wow, how did we end up together? I think I must have posted my Star Wars somewhere and you found me and we clearly hit it off with our crazy addiction to fandoms. :)

3. Your self-esteem! I don't think I've ever really heard you talk negatively about yourself...at least, not at length. I hope you can stay that strong forever!
4. I remember watching the evolution of you building one of your outfits...might have been Snowbunny Padme. Anyway, it was so fun to read your updates and see how excited you were about bits of fur and plastic and then you'd mold them into something.
5. Would you want to be President one day? And do you think they would use your fandom history against you in the campaign?

I don't know that I'd want to run for President, but I would consider a run for a state office. And yeah, I do worry that they'd try to use my costuming and fandom history against me, but I'll cross that bridge if I get there. I've never used drugs or done anything illegal... but if dressing in costumes and going to cons is THAT SCANDALOUS, then I guess I won't be able to serve.
