Okay, so right now the plan is to go to Six Flags, New Jersey, find a hotel, then drive to Boston and wander around, then drive up to Maine for the lobster bake (complete route here).

I'm trying to find something fun/random to do between NJ and MA, but with little luck. The Mark Twain House/Museum looks pretty cool though I don't know if AD and V-man will be down for all that educating. I was thinking of Ben & Jerry's but they are in Vermont which is a teensy bit of a detour. We're not really beach people.

Ah well, if worse comes to worse, wandering Boston is always entertaining. Lots of random shops and food and such.

Wow! It's probably not a big deal for you east-coasters, but the option to run around Boston for 'fun' just seems to cool to pass up! ;D

Problem is, I've run her around Boston when she visits for several summers now.. she's become jaded :-)

You're right, though- Boston is cool!
