A Disquiet Follows My Soul

holy crap, what a title? How could we be prepared for anything with a title like that? I mean, I'm just sayin'!



So, I assume they decided to Un-Cylon Nicky so that more would be at stake with Tigh/Six's baby. Because if Nicky had remained a Cylon, they would have had a girl and a guy child ready to go to save the Cylon race and Tigh/Six's baby would just be stuck. So, it makes sense...

Gaeta...*shakes head*...wow. After the events of last season and the webisodes, I guess we sorta saw this coming but...wow. I mean, he used to idolize Adama, now he's planning a mutiny with Zarek of all people! This will not end well. I'm thinking Gaeta will not survive the series.

Speaking of, now that Roslin and Adama have finally got-it-on, I fear for their lives! I mean, while they were unrequited, they seemed safe. You could tell that it was building up to something someday...but now that they have requited it, well, they are fair game. And after Starbuck's comment last season ("parents have to die for a child to grow up") AND the trailer for next week's episode...*meep*!

Plus, Roslin is off her meds so she's letting herself die. Oh it will be rough once that euphoria has worn off. When that day comes, I'm sure I'll be crying my eyes out.

Fun moment: Lee impatiently waiting his turn to speak while Adama and Zarek try to not answer the press' questions. Then Lee jumps forward and says "she" in reference to the final cylon...his face was great. Like "oh damn! But it's my only line!"

Fun moment: Doc Cottle lighting up next to a pregnant woman/Cylon -- "She'll live"

Funnish moment: Starbuck's totally not PC slurs toward Gaeta. To be fair, he started it.

Hot Dog and Cally?? When did that happen? She must have been loaded because she was totally all about Chief. I'll let it slide because I understand why Nicky cannot really be a Cylon.

Though making Nicky not a Cylon also severs Chief's final connection to the humans. Things could get weird with him now.

I have this horrible feeling that no one is going to survive the show. They are just going to kill them all. Oh no, that would be too depressing. But I don't think a lot of people will survive what is to come. My guess is Starbuck and Apollo will make it, Preggers Six will survive OR Tigh will survive. Not sure if they will let us have a second happy couple (Athena/Helo MUST SURVIVE) but I'm thinking seeing Tigh taking care of a little baby and possibly being reunited with Helen somehow...I don't want Sam to die. He is the nicest guy...but maybe he should tell Starbuck to frak off. I could care less about Tori...Chief could go either way and appears to be teetering on the edge of self destruction again, and Gaius...I don't even know what to think about Gaius. I think he'll make it...and we better find out once and for all what the deal is with Head-Six!!!!

I can't believe there are only 8 episodes left.

Eight episodes left is crazy. It feels like there's way too much to finish for just eight eps.

As soon as Doc Cottle told Chief that Nicky wasn't his baby, I was like, "Right, because people don't already hate Cally with a burning, fiery passion..." I just want to know how Cally and Hot Dog--those two waifish little things--made such a big, chubby baby. Also: is Chief going to marry Hot Dog now? He did beat the crap out of him... ;)

At this point, I'm hoping that Gaeta doesn't survive the rest of the show. I wonder if Starbuck will end up killing him... she'll stick with Adama once the mutiny happens, and I have no doubt that fighting will ensue once they put the mutiny plan into action.

Poor Cally. I never hated her, I just didn't get the whole Cally/Chief thing. (and Cally clearly overfed Nicky to make him look pudgy like Galen...turns out she's a total evil mastermind...you only THINK Helen is the final Cylon).

Starbuck killing Gaeta seems plausible. I'm just trying to figure out what is going on because the trailer for next week made it look like shit was gonna go down on Friday but we still have 7 episodes after that! Shit can't go down and then they hang out for 7 episodes?? ACK!

You know, I always kinda liked Cally. I felt bad when/how she died anyway. (It certainly made me dislike Tori even more.) Although it doesn't quite make as much sense that she was so very upset about learning he was a cylon, because I though part of that was supposed to be because that would make her child half. So, Tyrol not being the father I can believe, but Cally knowing it all along? That doesn't quite fit right. o_O?

I was very amused by Tyrol teaching Hotdog the ropes. It did cause me to make a few Nicky has two daddies jokes. I wonder if he's going to have to share a kidney too?
