It got really good reviews but a very limited release and the DVD just came out last week so everyone is finally getting a chance to see it.

If I get it we can do a scary movie night because I doubt AD will watch it with me haha. OR we could make Joe watch with us and all 4 of us could get spooked! Does Joe do scary movies? Scary movies in Swedish, that is.

I'm so psyched to see it, I read the reviews when it came out but it didn't play at any of the theaters near me. I'll let you know what I think.

I'm usually a wuss when it comes to horror movies, but this one just sounded too good. I'll post my thoughts after I watch it.

I did like it, but keep in mind that I tend to like slow atmospheric character studies. Which this movie pretty much is. And.. not to say too much more and spoil it for you, but I'm not so sure it's an "invite the gang over for a scary movie" movie. I have more to say, but I'll wait until after you've seen it.

lol, SPOILERS! Nah, I wouldn't invite the gang, just Amy. We watched The Orphanage together, and that turned out to be more of an atmosphere thing than a OMG!SCARY kind of movie. Of course, we followed that up with Teeth which is just a OMGWTF? kind of movie (did you ever see that?)

Teeth is fun to watch with friends, if only so you can all scream "WHAT EW AAH MAN NO WAY OMG!" together haha. I think we missed half of the movie because we were running away from the TV half the time. It's just so ridiculous.

I liked Orphanage, but...well, just watch it and tell me what you think.
