Today was a good day with lots of little surprises. I had a meeting with my Jedi Master mentor at work, and she surprised me with an autographed copy of Uglies!!!! She met Scott Westerfeld while in NYC this weekend and thought of me and my total fangirlness for his works. It says "To Sam - Sorry I missed you, best of luck, Scott Westerfeld." So COOL!!!!!!!

(Of course, now I have an extra copy of Uglies...anyone need to read that? I can hook you up!)

Also got an email from Entertainment Earth saying they would yet again make good on their Low Price Guarantee, so I'm getting a really good deal on the next wave of BSG figures, and the Kara/Leoben set. :D EE ROCKS!

Then I got home and there was a package in my mailbox (???) from lostacanthus!!! Surprise mix cd!!! OMG so perfect because I want to update my iPod before we fly to Florida on Friday. I can't wait to listen to all these songs. There are only a few that I think I might have, but so many of them fall under the "bands I've heard of but haven't actually heard" category. THANK YOU!

Then heiland_coo came over and we talked about anything and everything, watched an episode of Angel while we ate sushi, then watched Let the Right One In, which will provide us with many happy memories of why we will never ever live in Sweden.

And now I'm chillin' at my desk and realizing I only have one more day of work this week then VACATION!!!! OMG FLORIDA YAY!

Yaaaayyy! You're welcome :)) Glad it got to you okay (omg it had to travel soooo far, but you never know xP). Lol I was so worried you were going to have to put each song in by hand, that would blow! I hope you like them :)))

I ripped it into iTunes no problem, all the songs and info intact. Can't wait to give it a spin! I've been loving Kings of Leon and Augustana so we seem to have musical tastes in common. :)
