OMG today was just all over the place.

Apparently, the apartment people decided today was the day to mow the lawn and remulch the flower areas. At 7am. So the rumble of the lawnmower engines woke me up hours before I wanted to wake up.

Eventually, my alarm went off at 10:30. The mowers were gone, but so was the sunshine. I decided to do a little mini-work out on my stationary bike and watch BSG "Water" so I could take part (or at least keep up with) [livejournal.com profile] bsg_refrak.

After I rode my bike, I went to make a pop tart. Right before I got the toaster plugged in the power went *blip* in the whole place. I heard my computer and the TV power down, then 3 seconds later everything came back on. I ate my pop tart and watched the end of BSG. Then I went to turn on my computer...blue screen of death!!! But what could I do? I had to go to work!

I emailed AD and luckily he has mad skillz. After first freaking me out and saying all was lost, he managed to reboot from a disc and save the day. I need to buy a networkable harddrive from NewEgg stat!!! This cannot happen again!

Uh, work was work-like. This week is wonky because I worked Sunday for 5 hours, so I have a random 5 hours off during the week. Tomorrow I'm working 10-3 and Wednesday I'm working 9-3, then I switched with someone on Thursday and I'm working 1-9, I have Friday off because of Easter break, I work Saturday, then I have Sunday AND Monday off (because I switched the Thursday and they owe me for Saturday). Crazy huh?

I made it home in one piece, ate dinner and watched Heroes, which we are finally caught up on.

Uuuh, yeah, so random day. Not a very interesting post, eh?

computer trouble sucks so hard. glad yours seems to have been saved.
I'm already behind on the refrak (how sad is that) but it's just been a crazy week. I think I might, perhaps, possibly have a few too many re-watches going on. LOL! Nothing a couch-sitting, popcorn-eating, DVD-mad rainy day won't solve. :D

I have way too many REGULAR shows to watch that the rewatch sorta falls by the wayside, but I figure its the easiest thing to watch while working out since I already know what is going on. "Water" was much better this (third?) time around for me. I don't know why. Maybe because I've come to like Sharon and Athena more over the years. And Helo...yeah, that probably helped.
