Gooooooo Beerfest!

Okay, uploaded the photos from Saturday! The World Beer-fest in Raleigh, NC was a lot of fun. They provided each person with a check-list for all the different beers (so you could grade them 1-5) and a small, shot glass sized beer taster. Then you went into one of the two huge tents and held out your glass and said "beer me!"
We got there early so we started with the 6pm crowd, which was a wise decision because some of the more *ahem* immature drinkers came later and started to get feisty (one poor beach ball was put down in a fit of rage).
I think my personal favorite was Wacko - Magic Hat's summer ale. I tend to like fruity, golden ales. I also liked Holy Mackerel. Their black ale had pomegranate juice in it, making it very yummy. Not sure if any of the beers I graded near the end of the venture should be counted as "good" since by then, everything tasted good!
There was some amusing swag too. Lots of people were obsessed with the stickers, grabbing them and sticking them to their person. There were also coasters, magnets, and matches at some of the stations. And some even had condoms. Yes, condoms. In fact, Magic Hat had special labels printed for their condoms.
It was a really fun night. Not sure how those 12-4 people survived (many of them were still stumbling around outside the bars nearby when we arrived at 5pm). We had fun, and even managed to snag some delicious sushi afterwards.
