orangerfulAlex needed someone to watch Skylar and Snowden next weekend (8&9) and I agreed. But at least Bobbie will be there to help out. It's just that I'll be spending all of saturday and a lot of Sunday at there house watching these kids. Ah well. He said he'd give me $200 cash for it. Which sounds like a sushi dinner without guilt to me. It's only one weekend. Plus, then he owes me and I can keep asking for concert tickets and CDs bwhahhaha!
Speaking of which, he just gave me a Pink Floyd DVD "Live at Pompeii: The Director's Cut" and the new deluxe edition of The Who's "Tommy" Which is pretty cool. I've always felt I needed to own a copy of that. Now I own the newest version there is.
What's up with Director's Cuts anyway? I just saw that they re-released "Alien" as a director's cut. I haven't seen too many "Director's Cut"s that I actually liked. But from what I read at the website, Ridley Scott didn't toy with the film too much. Apparently he popped in a couple of extra shots, but it's not like 2 hours worth. They mostly cleaned up the film and polished the soundtrack. Annapolis Mall is running it on their big Digital Projection screen, so now I really want to see it. Perhaps I shall put a portion of that $200 to popcorn and tickets.
I need to get a hair cut. My cute short haircut has now grown out into a stupid mullet-like style. I'm thinking I might spin by the mall tomorrow since I'll be getting out of here earlier. Maybe they can figure out what the hell to do with it. I want to grow it out, but I'd like it to grow at an even pace. Mostly, I just want to have a ponytail. I blame the Disaronno ads on during "Queer Eye". The girl in that ad has the perfect ponytail, so I had ponytail envy...that and I bought some leather ponytail holders with feathers in them at RenFest...so I need to grow out this mop so I can wear them!
Watched the premiere of 24 last night. I really can't stand Kim. I wish they would just stop putting her in the show. Keifer is addicted to something. And the Slayer's son from Buffy is playing Palmer's brother. I like him as an actor, so I'll watch a bit more.
Smallville and Angel tonight. Halloween episode of Angel. The 2 Buffy episodes were so funny, hopefully they can continue the tradition tonight.
Tru Calling starts tomorrow. I really want to watch it but it's on the same time as Scrubs. And stupid comcast doesn't set up the cable so you can tape one show and watch the other. I might experiment tonight and see if there's a way to do it. Or I might just call mom and ask her to tape it for me. You can actually watch the first 13 minutes online at fox.com, which of course, I did. Eliza Dushku (aka Faith from Buffy, aka Missy from Bring it On) has such a great face. Even when I wanted to smack her upside the head during Buffy, I still liked her.
Simpsons FINALLY starts Sunday. Yeesh. Halloween episode too.
Guster concert Saturday night! and Eddie Izzard next week! How cool is that?
