everybody loves a dream post...

My brain was all kinds of weird last night. I dreamt that I met Alexis Denisof at some sort of party and we hit it off really well, so he invited me to their baby shower in July. But then it turned out he was already friends with Amy's husband, Joe (he said that had done a "business venture" together??). And then there were these kids on bikes and one of them almost got hit by a bus, and I was telling him to go to a doctor but he didn't want to. Then I went over to Alexis Denisof's house and Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. were there but when she saw me she got all mad and told me to leave! So then I went in search of a sandwich, but the store was crazy busy, and they just had pre-made sandwiches piled up in the middle of the room, so everyone was trying to find one they liked. I grabbed one then decided I wanted a hostess cupcake...

And I think I woke myself up after that because I was (surprise!) hungry!

AD's insomnia is horrible right now, so I think I'm going to go over to WaWa and get a sub or something. Of the unhealthy fast foods out there, I think it is the least unhealthy.

We bought Super Punch-Out for the Wii last night. AD had played the original games and he tells me its exactly like those, only prettier. Which explains how they got away with the stereotyped characters, LOL! I guess they did Japan too with Piston Hondo (knock him out and he blubbers "oh sushi oh sushi!" before falling down). I'll probably play some more of that today. The Wii controls are really fun, confirming once again that the only games that should be purchased for the system are the ones made by Nintendo from previous franchises.

okay, to shower and then to find food!

I don't know what that dream was all about, except that someone posted pics of SMG and her "baby bump" so that clearly got in there somehow. She was so pissed that I was there though...not personally, just as "some fan".

AD says its pretty much exactly like the old one - all the characters have the same strategy and stuff. Let me tell you, the Wii Balance Board controls are horrible! I could not get it to respond to my bobbing and weaving. I'm using the nunchuck controls but AD likes just the wii-mote turned sideways (because then its the classic nintendo controls) but I swear I can throw punches faster with the nunchuck...
