Just watched the second episode of "Arrested Development" which was even funnier than the first. Malcolm was kinda lame. Best part was when Hal and the other store employees rebelled to the music of "Sussudio". Otherwise, I think they are running low on comedy steam.

I babysat all weekend. Which kinda blows cuz I essentially had no weekend. What is worse is that AD is having trouble sleeping and since I had to get up to babysit bot Saturday and Sunday, I couldn't spend time with him, or even stay up later with him just to be around and, ya know, conscious. I hate it when he can't sleep, I always think it's something I've done, even though I know it's not. Or I think that I can help him get to sleep if he'd just lie down when I lie down, which has absolutely no logic to it. So now he's on whacko-land schedule and I'm probably going to pass out as soon as Family Guy is over.

On the plus side, I should be getting $200+ from Alex this week to pay for the 2 days of babysitting. Which means a sushi dinner and extra stuff on a guilt free basis.

Babysitting was long. Kids are amusing to me for about 2 hours. Then it's like "geezus, learn to do something on your own, I want to watch TV!" Babysitting is weird too because you're not sure what the kids can watch, eat etc. Especially with Alex's kids. They are vegetarians over there. No meat. No soda either I noticed. So you know I'm starving to death over there. They literally live on bread and cheese....and occasionally jam. I came home Saturday night with a severe headache, which AD said was probably caffeine withdrawl since it went away after I chugged a cherry coke....and took 3 advil. Addicted to caffiene. That's just pathetic. Good thing I only drink soda at night. If I was a coffee person, that headache would have kicked in a lot earlier.

Alex did manage to get me Finding Nemo on DVD. Which is pretty great to have. I love DVDs. I also love the turtle in Finding Nemo.

Oh, and another thing with kids, they are all different. I mean, I was addicted to Star Wars and all my weird movies when I was little. Skylar won't even watch Lion King all the way through without hidng under a pillow and screaming "Scary Part!" (actually he says "Chary Parrr!" which usually leaves me going "just calm down and watch the movie".) How can I warp the child if he's too scared to watch stuff! Yeesh.

Pushed the poor kid off the swing today too. Luckily no damage done. He was just pissed at me for about 2 minutes. He wanted to swing again like 20 minutes later. But I really didn't want to push him again.

Okay, now I'm just killing time until the *special* Family Guy is on at 11pm. Gotta see the "controversial" episode.

I finished the "Sandman" comic books. Neil Gaiman is an odd dude, but I did enjoy the stories, even when they got very involved near the end. I need to take them back to the library and get the other books I ordered. Tonight, though, I think I shall read "The Princess Bride"....and then I want to re-read "Prisoner of Azkaban" so I can refresh myself on the plot before the movie comes out...whenever that may be.

Damn, another novel of an entry. Oh well.
