for a lazy Sunday, it was a busy Sunday
Jul. 6th, 2009 12:28 pm- FINALLY beat Bioshock and I'm seriously contemplating starting over again right now on the higher difficulty. Such a gorgeous game. Spent a good chunk of time exploring the Something In The Sea website, learning the basic background story of Bioshock 2. I also downloaded a bunch of pictures from the main site, so I'm hoping to make a few icons.
- Watched the last episode of Supernatural Season 3 - No Rest for the Wicked. What can I say...what an ending! Can't wait to see how they handle it all in Season 4.
- My Sims 3 glitched or something and the main family I was playing has disappeared! So I started over last night with a new family. I didn't feel like building whole new Sims so I just started with one of the pre-made ones - The Keatons. She was already very preggers right off the bat, so I got to rush her to the hospital and everything. So far, everything seems to be working out okay with balancing their sleep and the baby. I'm hoping he gets some good traits when he grows to be a toddler. My last few have been slobs because I wasn't fast enough changing their diapers. :\
- We're about 2/3 of the way through Season 1 of How I Met Your Mother. It's such a cute show, but we realized that it's going to be painful because every relationship he is in will fail until he meets his future wife, which won't be until the show ends, yes?? I was amused to learn that Bob Saget is the voice over. I recognized the voice but just shrugged it off as a voice over actor I'd probably heard elsewhere...
- And now I'm sitting here waiting for it to be 1pm so I can try to pre-order the Dollhouse blu-ray that will be an exclusive at Comic-Con....

Date: 2009-07-06 09:04 pm (UTC)My friend Dan, OTOH, harvested them all every time. I used to joke with him about how he probably grabs the little sisters by the feet, swings them over his head, cracks their backs open over a railing, and sucks the marrow from their bones because he enjoyed having all that Adam. Haha.

Date: 2009-07-06 11:43 pm (UTC)Yeah HIMYM is too cute, but you do kinda feel bad for him every time he is like OMG SHE IS THE ONE! because it would be a pretty short show otherwise. I watch it for Barney and Robin and Lily and Marshall, to be honest. haha. Ted could just not be on the show for all I care which is bad since the show is ABOUT Ted. lol.

Date: 2009-07-07 01:41 pm (UTC)And yay HIMYM!! I think what's so wonderful about that show is that, while you would think it would be painful, his big relationships are actually so well-written that you can kind of forget the fact that it probably isn't the mother, since that would mean the show was over. :)

Date: 2009-07-08 01:25 am (UTC)NPH and Jason Segel really keep me watching HIMYM. Ted amuses me but those two are where the funny is at. And Aly of course. That woman cracks me up, even in real life (she's a hoot on Twitter)
