High Anxiety
Nov. 15th, 2003 12:05 amMel Brooks sings the song at the end of that. and I bet he wrote it too. Ridiculous. Funny movie though, if you're familiar with Alfred Hitchcock's stuff.
Scrubs was funny. This season is off to a good start so far. Last year was so slow, probably due to the whole JD/Eliot story line.
Tru Calling still needs work. If only because we have to watch the show twice practically. And whats with the recap at the 30 minute mark? Why the hell do I watch the whole show if I can just tune in at 8:30 and follow it from there? Maybe they did it since it's up against Friends. I'd rather watch Eliza Dushku/Faith/Missy than any of the chicks on Friends though. She could kick all their asses. haha, that would be funny if she did too.
The CMT Most Wanted Live tour was pretty good last night. Those guys are all trained performers, I'll give them that. They know how to put on a good show. The backstage thing was odd. Like, with "rock stars", or at least, with Dave Matthews, going back stage was a big deal and to get that chance you really had to do something special. But these country stars are forced to do meet & greets at every show with Fan Club members, and radio stations. There were like 50 people back there at least. It was an assembly line. I mean, you didn't even get to chat or anything, you sort of handed them your item to sign, they signed it you froze for 3 seconds and they took a picture and they sent you on your way. I think I prefer my Dave meet and greet. At least then you felt special and Dave made the effort to chat with you. Ah well, the fact that I only knew the one guys name made it hard to say anything to the other three. I gotta start working for a station that plays artists I know.
Things I need to do tomorrow - Get envelopes for my resume, take books back to the library, get girl scout cookies from mom and.....SLEEP IN!
