We are big fans of Alexis Bledel in this house. LOVE Gilmore Girls, watched both of the 'Sisterhood' movies. And we were really excited that she finally had a new movie coming out with her in the starring role - Post Grad! It opens tomorrow!

And it has a whopping 6% on Rotten Tomatoes.

If you do just the top critics, that goes up to 10%, and the only critic that liked it was Roger Ebert - the man who hates every other movie I like.

So, I'm sorry Alexis, but I think we're going to have to pass on this one. We're saving our $20 for a movie with 65+ on RT - like District 9!

Yeeeeah.. as much as I do love that girl, that one did not look like a winner. (And yeah, I watched both Sisterhood movies too.. There's always Sin City 2, right??)

I forgot about her in Sin City - I wasn't a Gilmore Girls fan yet. Plus, she's only in there for 10 minute or something, right?

also, OMG icon love! RUN RINGO! 'Help' may not be as good as Hard Days Night (and a little politically incorrect now) but it does have some GREAT lines to quote.

That's kind of sad, only 6%. I want to see her new movie but I hardly go to the theater anymore. I'll just have to wait for the DVD. I am not sure about this movie anyways, she looks a bit to..I dunno perky in the promos. It's odd to see Alexis as a perky person, lol.

yeah, even the promos were not very exciting, but I was holding out hope because she's such a good actress. But oh well, sounds like it was the scripts fault. We'll probably rent it and embrace the pain with a bottle of wine.

We watched the Gilmore Girls finale again today (boyfriend just rewatched the entire series over the course of 3 months) and I still tear up! Everyone on that show, but especially here and Lauren Graham, are just so natural.
