orangerfulTyped up my thoughts in real-time as I watched tonight's episode of "Dollhouse" - guest starring Michael Hogan!
I'd give this episode a 4.5 out of 5 stars, a very good follow-up to the strong season premiere (too bad it was the third episode to air)

Well, this is fucked up. Leave it to Tim Minear to tackle the episode about a psycho.
Why do serial killers always have bad hair and bad fashion (except for Dexter, but that's how he's managed to lay low all these years)
Aw, Victor misses Dr Saunders
No Topher, don't fix him!
Erm, and DON'T give him a "man reaction"
"There is no need to continue to translate me."
Oh, and serial killers always have a rich family member to fund their habits.

OMG an all Sierra episode?????? AWESOME!!!!!!
Hm, the ending sort of left me a little...eh...otherwise a great episode. Again, need to do more with Echo then hint how much she is retaining after each wipe. SHE needs to start changing and effecting her engagements, not some outside force. SHE needs to start fighting back. Those were the best episodes of last season, when Alpha would mess with her and suddenly she would turn into something more than just the doll. But Echo/Caroline needs to be the one calling the shots, maybe ditching engagements to do other stuff...
Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought I saw somewhere that this episode was actually supposed to be the second episode of the season? Anyone know if that is true? This would have been a much stronger follow-up to the premiere and the baby-crazy episode would have worked better as the third. "Vows" was such a hard act to follow.
Also, classic FOX move - show has low ratings? Let's delay it's airing by a week so anyone that might have stumbled upon it tonight will completely forget about it by the time it comes back on the air. WTF is happening next Friday night?

The Medieval not Advanced Evil line made me laugh too. :) I like Ballard alot and his scene watching Echo get dressed as Kiki then going 'oh, Serial Killer, great!' was funny.
In general this ep was very good but it made me feel not so great. Then it wasn't supposed to make me feel great. Anyway. Stupid sports next week. Argh.
