Oooh they keep talking about snow and snowstorms this weekend. I'm trying to not get my hopes up, but I"m scheduled to work Saturday and it would be so SWEET to get a snow day. Or even a delayed opening. But since I'm aware of the snow, my guess is that it will completely miss us.

I finally watched Legend of the Seeker this morning with breakfast. I'm not sure what all the OOC fuss was about. I felt like Kahlan and Cara were well within their character limits.



I mean, Kahlan was upset that Richard was gone. And from what we learned, he wasn't just gone a couple of days, it could have been an entire MONTH he was missing and, I dunno, Mother Confessor or no, I think a little tear would not be out of the question. Especially when your only travel companion is Cara.

Poor poor Leo. There's no way he's going to live. It's just a question of time. As soon as he started flirting with Cara and she flirted back...oh I knew he was not long for this world. I assume he is the Seeker from the prophecy who will give the Keeper the Stone of Tears?

But it is clear from the fandom boards that this episode will go down in history as the episode of the ATTACK CHIPMUNK!!!!! Great little scene between the two of them. I think the writers really want to give Cara a little more personality but they are trying not to have her lose her Mord-Sith-ness.

And was anyone else a little giddy over hearing Zedd spouting Wizard Rules again? I miss those, they were always good for a giggle.

So do you think that Sister Nicci will be the new Denna?



In other news, I gave my DVD copies of Battlestar Galactica to heiland_coo (we upgraded to blu-ray back in July) and in return she pre-ordered Mass Effect 2 for me, so I'm waiting impatiently for that EPIC 2-Disc monster of a game to show up. I'll probably have to make it it's very own special tag. In the mean time, I still have 20% of Fereldin to explore in DragonAge.



Question for all my friends who have played through DA - am I the ONLY one that has had Zevran attempt to kill them again???? I was so pissed that he double crossed me. Next time I play, I'm going to make a Blood Mage and zap his ass as soon as I meet him. Double crossing elf!

I just talked to the Queen a made a sort of alliance with her and now I'm roaming around hoping to get into the Alienage. I'm nervous about these other characters I keep leaving at camp...I wonder if I should tell them all to leave, I'm scared they might pop up and try to ambush me!!!

Zevran always stands behind me. (Sometimes for more reasons than one. lol)

But when he gets the opportunity to betray you (siding with the other assassin) if you don't have over 60% of his approval he will betray you. This last play through (where I was shooting for the 'easy lover' achievement), I saved up the majority of my gifts and before we even left the field where he ambushes you in the first place, he was at 80% approval. haha.

Next thing I knew he was telling me I had to break it off with Alistair.

Next game I'm making a shexy-human-mage (probably gonna name her Codex) and then Zevran can come along with me and be my rogue hehe. Probably let Shen out too. I've pretty much only been playing with Alistair, Morrigan and Wynne.

It's too bad Dwarves can't be Mages...I want a Mary Sue dwarf that is the ONLY dwarf that can be a mage and everyone tells me how awesome I am. Why doesn't Bioware let me???
