orangerfulDay 10 - A show you thought you wouldn’t like but ended up loving
I resisted this show, never watched a single episode when it was on TV. A show about a mother and daughter? Why would I want to watch that when I can watch Buffy kick butt? Luckily, AD was a fan of the show and when the press junket started for Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 and some random network started marathoning GG episodes, he started making me watch them with him and he got me hooked. impalalove pointed out on her blog today, it's an ensemble show and just saying it's about Lorelai and Rory is so not true. It's an amazing show about family, belonging, growing up, growing close, maturity...and COFFEE!
Needless to say, we now own the entire series on DVD.
