Transferring and adding all of my music into iTunes on this new computer. It's taking forever, mostly because I had music saved in two different spots and now I'm trying to combine it all and iTunes/Windows is freaking out. Blah. Making more work for myself but oh well, when it's done EVERY SINGLE SONG should be in one spot, on the main server.

Speaking of, I'm having to download everything again and was wondering what everyone used to type up their LJ entries. I've been using Semagic forever, but I think it was the only thing available when I first signed up for Livejournal. Does anyone else use a different client? I like having the client because I can walk away from entries halfway through, save drafts etc. and I feel it's easier to edit that way. What's your' two cents?

Just watched the 100 Greatest Insults video that is making the rounds on the Internet. I was impressed with how many movies I had seen but the biggest revelation for me was a 30 second clip from "Three Amigos" where Steve Martin calls someone the "son of a motherless goat". I've been using this phrase for ages and had forgotten it's origins and now I know! It's from a bad 80s comedy that I must have watched several times as a kid (I <3 Steve Martin)

Also, Windows 7 is weird, but I'm getting the hang of it. It wants SO HARD to be like Mac, but I sort of miss my windows...meh, whatever. Sims 3 works like a dream, all my saves imported so I'm happy!

Okay, off to bed - I have to work tomorrow and it will either be crazy with people looking for books for their long weekend or totally dead because everyone has left town by me. Either way, here's hoping it goes by FAST so I can enjoy my Sun/Mon off. Hopefully, we will see Toy Story 3 this weekend!

I've not ever used a client to type up LJ entries because I keep getting mixed reviews on which are the best. I'm thinking of looking them up and trying a couple of them out, just to see how it goes.

And let me know how Toy Story 3 is, if you do get to see it! I haven't seen it yet and I want to hear a few more thoughts on it! :D

Steve Martin is all kinds of awesome. Have you ever seen, oh duh, how many times have you seen L.A. Story?? It's one of my favorite movies.

I hope you don't lose any songs transferring iTunes to a new computer. iTunes seems to think you're stealing songs you bought from them while on the old computer and makes them go away--or they play on your computer but don't transfer to your iPod/other mobile device. ::kicks iTunes in the butt::

I like Semagic - it let's me access Scrapbook while posting, preview posts, and save drafts. I think I'll just d/l it again since no one was like "OMG NOT SEMAGIC" when I posted this LOL.

Hopefully Toy Story 3 tomorrow! There were early fireworks by our apartment today so we watched those instead. They were pretty, plus I got funnel cake so WIN/WIN.

I love L.A. Story. I need to watch it again, it's been ages. Has one of my all time favorite quotes - "A kiss may not be the truth, but it is what we wish were true" Ah Steve, who knew a guy with an arrow through his head would grow up to be such a mature and poetic thinker?

I appear to have almost ALL of my songs back. One random John Mayer CD has vanished, both from iTunes and my physical collection, which is weird because it wasn't a very good CD so I know I didn't lend it to anyone. 6000+ songs is a lot though so I'm not surprised if a few got lost in the shuffle. But my purchased songs all seem to be intact so YAY!

I downloaded Semagic, just to give it a shot and I've decided that I really like it. :) While I've only used it a couple of times to post test entries while testing out all the features, it was a lot nicer looking than LochJournal (which I found just googling for LJ clients).
