Kinect Adventures
Nov. 5th, 2010 10:36 amWell, quite the saga yesterday. I got home with my Kinect and after fighting with it for two hours, I realize I had a faulty motor. So I called the local Gamestops and found out the one down the street would be getting a new shipment today. So I ran over this morning and told them my sad tale of woe and the girl was kind enough to give me a new one. Right out of the box it worked!!!!
My apartment is a bit too cramped for two player mode but it looks like I'm doing fine with the single player game in Kinect Adventures. It's a blast! The hardest part is moving around. You're so used to standing still but you have to move side to side and around to "reach" things in the game.
Now I just have to resist buying any other games -- I am putting them all on my Christmas list. :)

Date: 2010-11-05 07:09 pm (UTC)We had the same probably with cramped space when we got Playstation Move.. it's a lot of fun, but it makes me want to reorganize the furniture in the tv room. ;)
Is the camera pretty responsive then? Do you feel like it's catching all of your movements and stuff, even with the side-to-side action?
So what are the games you'll be adding to your Christmas Wish List? :D
(In other news, I apparently have no gaming icons.)
