orangerfulWatched this at work today and even with the sound way down our new librarian knew what it was and came rushing to watch over my shoulder. I like her already.
And even watching with the sound coming from the crappy PC speaker, I still got goosebumps during the countdown at the end.
I'm actually feeling pretty good about this, though I'm not sure about Woody Harrelson as Haymitch...maybe because he has the same hair he had in A Scanner Darkly and it's distracting me.
Still...I'm not quite as upset about Gale and Peeta. Seeing them do a teensy bit of acting gives them a bit more character.
Though that better not be the "girl who was on fire" dress in the trailer because that dress is kinda *yawn*...but she does have a bunch of dresses to go through before that one shows up.
EEEEEEE!!!!!!! MARCH 23RD! Totally going to a midnight release if there is one. :)

Date: 2011-11-15 01:37 am (UTC)AGREED. Surely it can't be--Lionsgate made a statement about how they deliberately chose clips from the first half of the movie and ended the trailer at the beginning of the Games. So I'm hoping that they're leaving the fire dress out of trailers and stuff...
I loved that they kept the scene w/the waxing in. It's kind of silly, but I think the makeovers are an important detail and seeing that in the trailer made me hopeful that the screenwriter and the crew really have their shit together.
