AHS: Asylum

So...is anyone caught up on American Horror Story? I lost steam right before Christmas and have yet to pick it back up. Contemplating just waiting until the rest of the season is done and marathoning the last few.. Is it worth it? Is it getting better? No spoilers please.

After sad things happened in the news, I couldn't handle a violent plotline, so I found myself not wanting to watch it.

Yeah, I haven't been compelled to watch...I think it was the alien storyline...or maybe the serial killer storyline...nothing pulled me in to a point where I just HAD to know.

Okay, I watched one more episode - there's one on tonight, and there were two before this one. I watched the first of those.

I think this show has crossed into POOR TASTE.

Vivid Rape scenes/abortion/Nazi-holocost is just "how far can we push it."

Yuck. I'm done. I liked the first season - which was more like a soap.

Yeah, this season has just felt like all shock value, how far can we go with this instead of actual story. Rewatching the pilot of season 1 with commentary really made me NOT want to watch anymore of season 2. I think a lot of people gave up on it. I hope this is just a sophomore slump and maybe season 3 will be tighter.
