This series just keeps on surprising me. Season 2 has been fantastic, above and beyond what Season 1 was. Seriously, just go read the Wiki for Season 1 and jump in to Season 2 if you don't believe me. We have a cast of characters now that you can root for and believe in.
My only concern right now is Regina. What I liked most about this season so far was that she seemed to be "getting better". She wasn't just an evil witch, she was a woman trying to figure out her life and her purpose. Earlier episodes this season had me on her side. This new episode, it is hard to tell if she is slipping back to The Dark Side...or if she is trying to play her mother. The classic double triple cross. Or something. I dunno, but she did make Anton GIANT again, but I'm sure she knew Charmng and Snow wouldn't be so easily defeated...so why? What is her play? I really hope she's just not reverting back to the cackling witch and there is more to come, especially now that she knows her mother framed her for murder.
Other than that -- the scene when Mr Gold had to remove the scarft at the airport had me on the edge of my seat. I wasn't sure what would be the consequences. At first, I thought perhaps he would have lost some memory. But having him lose his magic is just as upsetting (did anyone else notice the blood stains on the scarf in the final scene? Emma fails for not seeing those immediately. Unless he had fries with his dinner).
I love Snow/Charming so much! They are just too adorable. Ginnifer Goodwin is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. Are those eye lashes for real???? (yeah yeah tangent)
And WHO IS THE MAN IN THE HOSPITAL?? Is he really just some innocent bystander who happened to drive into Storybrooke? Does anything JUST HAPPEN in that town? No, there is something up with him. Worried about him bonding with Belle and the chaos that could cause, especially when Gold gets back.
It was a sweet moment with the dwarves and Tiny at the end there...but I have to say, what makes Snow so sure she can protect a FIELD from Cora??? They are playing right into her hand. Then again, the blow that morale in the town would take if Charming and Snow denied them this chance of growing magic beans...
Sad that Jackolyn, the Giant Mamer only got the one episode. She was feisty, I liked her...you know, except for the evil backstabbing bitch part. She could have been cool.
Can't wait to see what the rest of this season holds! Fantastic return.

& ITA about Regina, it's like they just have no idea what to do with her sometimes. And Jack! I wish she could have stuck around a little longer :c
