Just spent my entire day (well, I woke up at all...so 3 1/2 hours) cleaning my apartment. Honestly, I need 3 day weekends or I would never clean. 2 days is just enough for me to recover from working all week and I'm in no mood to do anything productive until day 3, which is usually back to work. But not today. Of course, now my apartment reeks of cleaning solutions and powders and such (and I think I got some on my hands which now also smell of "lavender").

Hope everyone else is having at least as much fun as me today! :P

Let's see: I did laundry, took two extra transcription assignments to make up for possible repeats tonight, did the grocery shopping in a very crowded store, and am currently checking my FL via phone while monitoring my 3-year-old in the bath. So yes, my day was all fun and games, too.

On the positive side, you'll wake up to a nice, clean place tomorrow.

LOL yeah, that was what Tim said, "don't you feel a sense of accomplishment?" I guess it is nice to not smell so much cat. :)

I did *paperwork.* Went through and filed maybe 6 months' worth of stuff, did some organizing and making a couple of new files. Just a couple of hours, but I know what you mean--it had to wait for a 3-day weekend because Saturdays when I'm not working are my day to do laundry (and relax a bit from the work week), and Sunday was Internet day, and going to the local festival (BBQ ribs and an entire funnel cake for dinner, plus a cool local-art show and lots of kids & teens walking around with their blow-up lime-green alien prizes.)

Exactly! We need a day of fun and a day of rest and THEN a day of cleaning/organizing. And when I only have two days off, guess which one loses LOL. :)

I am very much the same way. I have so much cleaning still to do but at least I had some time for it today. On two day weekends I just run out of time so quickly!

Yeah, this was regular cleaning but I need to do some organizing. Now that summer is winding down, I need to do my annual go-through-the-closet-and-remove-any-summer-clothes-not-worn-all-summer. Same with shoes. Oh well, when is my next 3 day weekend? ;-)

I'm chipping away at that kind of cleaning and organizing. I've also got a bunch of stuff for the Can't Stop the Serenity events arriving at my apartment at the end of the month so I've got a deadline for organizing my stuff and clearing out space - eek!
