OH DEAR GOD THE ELECTRIC TEA KETTLE AT WORK DIED!!!!!!!!!!

I need tea!!!!!!! I'm desperate. I might go back and microwave a mug of
hot water to try to at least get it warm enough to create something almost,
but not quite, entirely *unlike* tea.

This is not a good way to start the week. That is the second electric tea
pot we've worn out there. We are hard-core tea drinkers!

I KNOW! I think I may have to bring my own kettle in tomorrow since we are supposed to start the day at 6 degrees...you can't get through a day that cold with no tea!

^_^

It's the quote I quote most often myself. Because it's about tea. I may have referenced it in one of my Dr Who reviews, come to think of it.

A proper electric kettle is a necessity for every civilised workplace. I feel you pain.

Companies need to send us their kettles to stress-test. The first kettle, the handle came off and this one just gave up entirely! Neither of them lasted a year!

Related point: turned on the kettle in my last halls of residence, blew the fuse to the whole building. University bought us a new, BETTER, kettle.

UNIVERSITIES GET STUDENTS. Or you know, don't want us blowing the electrics just to get tea.

LOL, whoops! Yeah, I think we might use some of our "sunshine fund" to buy a new tea pot. I mean, enough of the staff use it, I think it's a worthy investment.
