Hay Day...sigh

Hay Day.

Oh I mocked my friend at work for playing it. I thought she was crazy, talking about her farm, her pigs, her corn...

Now I'm sitting there at midnight waiting for my pumpkins to grow so I can make some pie for that adorable little farmer girl. JUST WAIT A MOMENT!

Seriously, I feel bad for my iPad when I play games like this, like deep inside it is crying, why? WHY?!? You should be doing brilliant, productive things but instead you're waiting for the alarm to go off to say the eggs are ready to be harvested.

Anyone else addicted to any other ridiculous apps? Confess now!!! Make me feel less silly! (Also, I need to kill some time while the next crop of wheat grows...)

Making things in the digital world is so much better!

I was addicted to this zombie game app here recently but it didn't last long since you had to wait nearly an hour for things to recharge unless you wanted to keep throwing money at it. Angry Birds Is always one I go back to though.

Yeah, I've played a bunch of games where I hit the wall of "no seriously, give us your money NOW" and just stopped playing. So far, Hay Day has not had that issue. I mean, you have to wait awhile for things to be ready to harvest, but so far it hasn't been annoying.

My go-to is still Fairway Solitaire. So addictive! I got it for free then bought it for my iPad because I loved it so much.

I finally hit the wall on that one. And I was not going to give them real money. But it was so cute and fun while it lasted.

I mostly like the minigame where you bounce the ball back and forth with your chosen pony. It's so relaxing and I don't even understand why!

LOL I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!! I hate the connect the stars game though, I never do well on that.

And it turns out I didn't delete that app...I still have it on my iPad...and I started playing a little bit. The connect to Facebook seemed funky though.

WOW! I am halfway through level 18 now. I'm sure it will wear thin eventually (I'm already annoyed by how hard it is to find materials to increase storage in the barn) but it is a nice wind down after work. Plus, the look on the cows' faces after you milk them is priceless.

oh that game! I probably would have done better but I could never get it connect to my friends. :( It was fun though, mostly because of all the Simpsons noises!

LOL Simpsons Tapped Out can consume far too much of my time. Right now that's my biggest time suck on the iPad. I've been playing Candy Crush too and Disney's Frozen (just like Candy Crush)

I was tempted to download the Frozen game after this Penny Arcade comic (http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2013/12/18). I refuse to pay real money for those silly things but oh how I love them. And when I run out of tries on Candy Crush, it would be sooooo easy to open up the Frozen game...

I have beat all current levels of the Frozen game without spending a dime so it's possible. Now I just have to wait for more levels!!!!!!!!!!
