snow day 2015: play all the games
Feb. 17th, 2015 09:34 pmWe had some of the white stuff falling from the sky last night so all of Maryland was in a panic because two days before they said 8 inches (LOL!) but we ended up with not quite 2. Luckily, the library decided to just be closed so I was able to take my time getting up this morning and waiting for the sun to come out before going to clean my car off. It was mostly melted already which was awesome. Just hoping I can get out of the parking spot tomorrow morning when the snow will probably be a bit firmer (for those that do not know, I drive a Mini Cooper that I love and adore but she is not an all terrain vehicle by any stretch).
So I used my time very wisely today - I pretty much played DragonAge: Inquistion ALL DAY. I did one of the main quests last night and I think I'm almost to the end, so I was running around trying to do lots of little sidequests and missions. I realized I had been making a HUGE mistake in selling all the items in the "Valuables" category, thinking that was just code for stuff that wasn't part of a quest. BUT THEY WERE! They were for requisitions! UGH! So...yeah, put that on the "next playthrough" list. I did finally kill a dragon, three actually. Of course, the last dragon I killed war part of a quest and it was the easiest one and I was like "WHY DID I NOT DO THIS ONE FIRST!?!" So, yeah, next playthrough LOL.
Maybe next time I will blog a bit more about my playthrough...would anyone actually want to read that?? LOL I might do it just to amuse myself.
In between load screens and such, I played Sims Freeplay on my iPad, which I have become addicted to this past month. They really improved the game from when I first played it two years ago (I only know it was two years ago because of a Timehop entry I saw yesterday). Does anyone else play Freeplay??? I need some IRL people for the other town quests.
And now it's time for gaming with Casey! STOP - HAMMERwatch TIME! :D
