I feel obligated to alert my flist to these upcoming books that look awesome:

I don't read a lot of non-fiction, but when I do, it tends to be autobiographies by actors I admire.

I'm really excited about that book. I never got into Parks and Rec (need to give it another try though, I think the first few eps might just not have been a good representation of where it was going) but I really like Poehler when she's hanging out with Tina Fey.

Season one is admittedly not the best, but it does get better!

I really hope so. I noticed we have it cataloged as biography instead of in the humor section, so I'm hoping that means it's just Amy writing as Amy, which means it will be both funny and heartfelt. I prefer those to the forced comedy books.

I totally marked all three of these as 'want to read' on Goodreads! I love that NPH's is a choose your own adventure! How freaking cool is that?

Very cool! I just emailed a gentle reminder to our purchasing department to make sure we would be getting it for the library. haha.

I very rarely read autobiographies or non-fiction but I am intrigued by the Cary Elwes book.

First thing being added to my Christmas list is the Carry Elwes book. ♥ I don't like non-fiction at all, but I will totally read this because I think there are probably some really interesting stories that he's going to tell.

There is some well-written non-fiction out there if you ever get the urge. "Unbroken" and "Seabiscuit" were fantastic and "Devil in the White City" freaked me out LOL. But, yeah, I avoid most of the war stories (which seem to rule the NF area)
