Tim got a new video card and gave me his old video card.

So...of course, I had to test it out.

by installing Sims 3.

And now I've spend my entire evening playing that game.

And if I keep playing at this rate, Halloween in my Sims game will be happening the same time it happens IRL.

I forgot how addictive this game is. It's pretty much like playing with dolls.

I was too lazy to create my own Sims so I went with a premade family. I spent a good chunk of time trying to get the zombies to attack my one Sim but he was too fast for them. His son is flirting with a vampire girl, but she just aged up and now he's a teen and she's a young adult so the game won't let them flirt. I'm hoping he will age up and I can make them go to college together.

The wife/mom is an idiot. She is mean spirited and insults EVERYONE she meets, sends insulting texts...yet she has a strong attraction to two guys in the neighborhood.

Anyway, this was the productive activity of my evening LOL

I have this problem also.

I am that other kind of player though, the psychotically controlling kind. All my games inevitably end up with me seeing how many generations it takes for me to breed the alien out of a family.

I AM AT LEAST A KIND CONTROLLING GOD, MY SIMS GET LAID A LOT.

LOL I did spend a good chunk of the game trying to get my two married Sims to have affairs with the local vampires. Because I wanted a vampire baby!!! But now I think their son might be able to date a vampire. maybe.

I'm not even sure what the point of the zombies is...maybe it is an acquired skill...
