I've never been a fashion person. I've never really thought about clothes too much, apart from my Her Universe geeky outfits.

But now that I have discovered Torrid...dear god, hide my wallet!

They just launched a new line designed by Rebel Wilson. And I want SO MUCH OF IT (well, not the stuff with the weird koala design, that doesn't do it for me...but the other stuff that I'm pretty sure I could wear to work if I wanted to be fancy, GUH!).

I LOVE THIS DRESS AND I WANT IT!

I guess finding a story that actually carries attractive clothing in sizes that definitely fit me makes a big difference. Who knew digging through the racks at Kohls or hoping that Hot Topic makes an XXL in a shirt would be so destructive to my fashion self esteem?

Anyway, not going to spend money now. I'm going to add them to my wishlist, and if they are still available next time I want to shop...then I will get them.

...or I will send the list to my Mom right NOW and tell her that I am not going to buy them but if Santa would like to order me anything, I would much appreciate it LOL.

Isn't it though? I'm not sure if it is too dressy for work or not...but I think the addition of the jacket makes it feel more casual so I feel like I could pull it off.

It's a pretty dress :)

In case you didn't know, Torrid is part of Full Beauty, which pulls together about 10 different clothing lines for plus sizes.

The sizing can be an issue and I find the Shopper's Club postage & returns deal to be a must given online clothes shopping has its problems. But I've found a lot of great stuff there and they have different sales offers every day.

oh cool I will look at that site. That is the one thing I like about Torrid, I know my size, there is only ONE size range. I've had pretty good luck with size 1 or size 16 in all the Torrid outfits I've tried on. But it looks like Full Beauty has some of the "older" lines that they might not have in their online shop anymore...dangerous!

I love Torrid. The stuff is made nicely too, which adds to the pluses.

Yeah, it feels like higher quality. I used to work at The Limited when I was younger and their clothes were SO cheaply made, they fell apart before they got on the rack. I was always embarrassed by how much they charged for them. But my Torrid tops and dresses (at least so far) feel well made.

I freaking love Torrid. It's my absolute favorite store. It's so hard to find cute or good-looking plus-sized clothing. Most of it makes me look like I'm 60 years old and it's just flowy and not flattering at all. Torrid is fantastic, though! I can never keep away from the clothes there. :P

That was the problem I was having too! The clothes were either frumpy or just not flattering at all. It's so invigorating finding a clothing line and not having to wonder "what will that look like on me?" I love that the models are all clearly plus sized too and not all size 12 (which isn't even plus COME ON!)

I love browsing Torrid. But they aren't really some place I shop online. Just because I'm fussy and like my shipping free haha. But the clothes are gorgeous!

I'm fussy too but since there is a store right down the road, I can ship there for free. So you can see, the temptation is even greater!

It's a cute dress. The clothes are great.

I'm not much of a fashion person either.

There's also stores like lane bryant and Catherines

I don't know Catherines, but I've always felt the Lane Bryant clothes were too professional? Or just sorta meh? Maybe that is just what is on display at the mall though. I like how fun the styles at Torrid are.

Catherines might be a little too dressy too but it's where I got my knit jeans. Yeah. I have few tops from Lane Bryant's that I wear to work. Their not too dressy. Maybe. Yeah. I don't go looking on Torrid very much. But the styles look cool.

That's exactly what happened to me.

Torrid broke me too. It was the gateway drug for actually liking going clothes shopping, something I had positively loathed before.

That dress is adorable! It is so nice being able to look at clothes that are pretty and be able to fit into them. So many things are teeny tiny and even their XL sizes are not anything close to XL.
