Sam vs. the computer

Lucasarts put up a free 14 day trial of Star Wars Galaxies, and since I am in KOTOR mode right now, I thought I'd check it out. So I went thru the whole thing of signing online, downloading the exe file for 3 hours from some random server, getting the CD-Key, installing the game, registering my user info blah blah bliddy blah - and guess what? My video card is so crap it won't work. So AD offered to put it on his computer, but the stupid game refuses to install on the hard drive that has space, so it just sits there saying "not enough memory". No wonder all the reviewers hated it, if it's this big a pain to install, playing it can't be that much fun.

dstntp1lgr1m. Again, a point for the computer, as I went and added him to my friends list but for some odd reason his entry isn't showing up on my friends page. I even deleted a few of the icon communities I don't plan on posting to. Still nothing. What is up with that? I need to go check and see if some of my other communities are even active anymore. Too many have been silent for too long.
I worked from 9:30-3:00 today, which wouldn't have been so bad had my body not decided that today would be the day the not-a-cold attacked with full force. So my head has been hot all day, my nose has been running, my eyes have been puffy - I've just felt very "ick". Tomorrow I work from 3:30 to some unknown time (depends on how many people show up for the sale). I hope it's slow so I can come home and sleep, I don't want to get sick(er).
I watched "Forever" the Buffy episode from season 5 right after "The Body". I vaguely remembered it, but decided to pop it in while AD was at class cuz I knew it had Dawn whining and Buffy crying but I felt I should watch it in case plot happened. Watching it and knowing whats to come in Season 6, however, made this episode better. It's all foreshadowing. Tara and Willow discuss the problems with bringing someone back from the dead. Tara talks about moral implications and things that can go wrong, Willow mostly says that it's a difficult spell. Pretty much everything Tara says could go wrong does go wrong when Willow brings Buffy back. There was even a line that was repeated verbatim in some episode in Season 6 (I think when Spike finds out he can hit Buffy without his chip activating). Hm....Joss is such a frickin' GENIUS!
Okay, I'm gonna go mess with this Galaxies thing again then go to bed and pray this stupid fever is gone by tomorrow.
