SPOILERS FOR TONIGHT'S EPISODE, BUT I JUST HAD TO SAY:


FINALLY!

There were a lot of shitty people on Game of Thrones but so far, Ramsey has been the most disgusting of them all with absolutely no redeeming qualities and it was hard to enjoy any part of the show when he was involved. I'm so glad he is GONE.

Though I'm scared of Sansa now. She was clearly tapping into the powers of the dark side. But I can't blame her.

I was kinda hoping she was just going to ride up to his smug ass during the battle and stab him while Jon was fighting all the soldiers. But perhaps that is the Looney Tunes fan inside of me, wanting that "screw you" moment to really last.

But I guess we are supposed to enjoy the fact that the dogs that he said he loved but also abused constantly, that he was still delusional enough to think they would have any loyalty to him, bit his face off.

I watched through my fingers, mostly focusing on Sansa's reaction and trying not to see anything else because ew.

Besides all that, I was LOVING Dany and Theon's sister's conversation (I can't remember her name and I doubt I could spell it, sorry Theon's sister, future queen of the Iron Islands (dear god I HOPE SHE MAKES IT! SHE IS SO BADASS))

Okay, it's late, must sleep, but still, this episode was worth the wait.

Also, so glad that Davos and the red beardy guy made it. I was worried about them the ENTIRE TIME!

I'm worried the red lady isn't going to make it through next week...actually, I'm not worried for her, more for Davos.



Okay, bedtime now. Hopefully I don't have crazy bloody battle dreams!

I wish they wouldn't change character names from the book names! Seems silly. Though I do like the name Yara.

They changed her name because they thought people would confuse her with Osha. Just like Robert Arryn is only Robin Arryn (not even Sweet Robin), and Hodor's real name was changed from Walder to Wylis. It's silly.

I think Yara and Arya are far more confusing thatn Osha and Asha...but whatever. That's TV for you! Clearly I hardly know anyone's names very well HAHHA

I agree -- I don't know why they picked Yara over Asha when there's Arya. They also changed a character named Jeyne's name to Talisa, but that's also because they totally changed her background and personality.

I only know names because I've read the damn books a zillion times and read the appendices with all the names until my eyes bled. (This is not me bragging -- it's proving what a loser I am. LOL)

It makes sense that she would be the one to give Ramsay his death, even if it wasn't by her own hand (as in twisting a knife into his gut or something like that) she still did it and I'm happy about it. She deserved to have some sort of satisfaction of seeing the most sadistic, vile piece of shit die in the most horrible fashion possible after what he did to her.

If nothing else, I'm hoping that she actually physically kills Littlefinger as a final "fuck you" though. It's wishful thinking, but I think it would be the most appropriate.

Asha Greyjoy. They have her underneath another name in the show (because apparently it was "too similar" to Osha, which is so stupid), but nobody in the fandom refers her to that. So it's Queen Asha. ♥

Either way, Dany and Asha joining together makes me very happy. And Dany with her dragons destroying shit, yas please.

Yeah, and I don't think I'm ready (or maybe Sansa isn't ready) to start actually stabbing people and killing them with her own hands. I wonder if that is how Littlefinger will meet his end.

Like I even remember who Osha was...was she the wildling girl with Ricon? I think Asha/Yara has had more screentime/lines than her anyway!

I know. I was like Ramsey needs to be killed! Just like when Joffery needed to be killed.

I'm scared FOR Sansa now. Because of Lord Baelish. I'm pretty sure getting that army there came with a price that now Lord Baelish wants. He has always wanted Sansa... I'm sure that's what he meant with that last scene between them in the episode.

Although I'm still hesitant to trust Theon's sister. She said, 'it's all they have left.' before sealing this deal with Dany.

It was so sad when Davos found out that Shireen was burned to her death.

I think that Sansa knows that. She's aware that in her world her ability to play the game of thrones is tied in to her use as a marriage partner and mother.

I was so delighted to see Ramsay get turned into puppy chow. I was hoping that Jon would let Sansa finish him off in the courtyard, though.

I was surprised that the death count wasn't higher and I was sad to see Wun Wun die.

I'm not sure Baelish is in any position to demand things of House Stark right now. Sansa is going to be pretty pissed off since he left her with Ramsey in the first place. He might plead ignorance to Ramsey's demeanor but no one will believe him.

I'm hesitant to trust anyone on this show! Even Dany. I love that Tyrion told her straight up that she was behaving like a crazy person when she thought killing everyone was a valid solution to the problem. We've already seen her act impulsively to save people and I worry those same impulses could lead her to murdering just as many.

Oh Davos. He is one of my favorite characters right now and I fear for his life. And I am curious about how he is going to confront the Red Woman. And if, int hat conflict, he will snap off that magic necklace thing of her. I do not like the Lord of Light.

I actually liked Ramsey (I've loved his actor forever, and I generally like the bad guys), so I was a tad upset he's gone, but what a fitting end! (Though I could have done with a lot fewer details/sounds about how he died...)

SO AGREED! In this world where women are generally powerless and fodder only to be raped, it's nice to have a pair of strong women.

ME TOO! Davos was the one I was worried most over (he's old... so many people fighting...) and the red beardy guy (Thon-something? Thonlan?) I liked a lot, even though I cannot remember his name.

All in all, a good ep! After a couple bad ones. I suspect they blew the whole season's special effects budget on this one. :D

I heard he originally tried out for Jon's part and I know he was in that British show...that I am forgetting the name of...and I'm sure he is a nice guy but the character was just too much for me. There was never a single moment when I felt for him.

I just hope that Dany and Yara end up being the good guys...if there is such a thing in this show. By the time they get to Westeros it might just be piles of dead bodies and white walkers!

This season hasn't been my favorite, you can really feel them struggling without the books to fall back on. I hope they figure out an ending that doesn't let us down.

Misfits was the UK show, which was sort of like a nerdy version of Heroes. I enjoyed the first couple seasons of it a whole lot!

I'm enjoying this season a lot more than last season -- last, I was pretty ready to quit the show. I'm glad I gave this season a chance! I feel totally back into it again.

LOL yeah I had my eyes closed and my hands over my ears! During Ramsey's death scene, I just held up my hand to cover up his side of the screen so I could see Sansa's reaction.

- I'm going to use an arrow because I'm great at it and I can kill you from far away... Oops

I only wish Theon was there... Sansa and Jon probably sent a raven with some selfie of them with the body of the crazy Misfits guy (I liked him on that show... what a pity). And now Arya will find out they took the North back (tears are rolling down my face) and she will join Jon and Sansa... And then Bran will come with a lot of trouble following him xD but there's time for that!

I am SO HAPPY... I'm honestly worrying that I'm that happy that someone died in general xD (Now is your turn High Sparrow... You're going to suffer too, you fanatic! I HATE that guy!)

Dany and Yara FTW! I loved everything about this episode... Theon there being humble and Tyrion and Dany exchanging glances...

One of the thing I found quite amusing was how the bodies were piling up so neatly in the field of the battle of the two Bastards... It was like someone told them "if you die, go over there, don't make a mess here, thankyouverymuch"

So the next one is the season finale... and is a double episode... is it Sunday yet?

Sorry I get very excited around shows I love... You should see me after an episode of Doctor Who (well... not the super recent ones)

Ramsey really did just sit there and list all the ways he would lose. And I'm so glad he did. This show always keeps me guessing and I was legit worried about halfway through the battle that maybe this was going to end badly for the Starks. I am so glad it didn't.

I hope Arya comes back soon! I can't wait for what is left of the Stark family to be reunited LOL.

I GET EXCITED TOO! That's why I need friends like you to flail around with! So next week is 2 hours long??? Wow...I will need to plan ahead so I don't start watching it at 11:30 LOL. Can I call out of work if I am up too late watching 'Game of Thrones'? Is that a valid reason???

A friend of mine told me it's going to be a double episode but another said 70 minutes so I don't know what's going on now... Anyway is going to be a longer one! :D

THIS EPISODE WAS AMAZING. So much epicness.

Dany was amazing and I'm interested to see what happens now that she and Yara and Theon have allied.

I knew as soon as Rickon got brought out onto the battlefield that he was screwed. There was no way for him to get out alive. And with Jon being so close and trying to get to him as fast as he could...:( heartbreaking.

I was sad when the giant died. :(

But that ending...THAT ENDING. I was just like HELL YES once the banner dropped, and then that very last scene with Ramsey. RAMSEY GOT WHAT HE DESERVED AND SANSA GOT TO SEE IT HAPPEN.

I NEED Arya to reunite with Jon and Sansa now. I don't think Bran will be reuniting with them any time soon, but I really, really hope Arya is able to reunite with them. It's going to kill me if it doesn't happen in the next episode, though.

I loved that Sansa was the one with the battle sense. That she knew Rickon was already dead, one way or the other. Pretty much anyone taken by Ramsey was going to die. But, then again, Ramsey's arrogance cost him the fight - instead of shooting Rickon, he could have killed Jon with that arrow. But instead he wanted to torture him. Such a despicable character.

Well, hopefully Arya can find a boat as fast and Yara's LOL! How exactly did they get from the Iron Islands to Mereen so quickly ???
