Date: 2016-09-29 07:49 am (UTC)I finally abandoned Photobucket for Flickr because the ads were ridiculous and I kept running out of space. Flickr has got plenty of its own annoyances, and mostly I am using them for the 1 Terabyte (!!!) free storage for trip photos, but they also leave me the hell alone and don't bug me with endless sales. I mean, obviously you don't need 1TB storage for LJ icons, but if you upload other stuff, might be worthwhile.
