GoT reaction - no spoilers

Glad that they did the thing I was hoping they were doing.

Still concerned that travel time in this show has gone out the window and people just kind of appear places.

The "big reveal" had already been revealed a few episodes ago - though maybe I only knew because someone here pointed it out

Someone who is better at math than me, help me out: if there are 60 episodes of GoT so far and I want to do a weekly rewatch that will end up right before season 8 starts, and assuming it will start in the summer of 2018 (please don't make us wait until 2019 HBO!) when do I need to start watching???

I've been seeing a lot of "OMG JON/DANY!!" and "WTF, JON/DANY??" in my social media feeds, in equal measure, and I don't know if *that's* the big reveal you're referring to or just something people are now more vocally shipping and/or pissed off about. I do want to catch up, because I've been predicting that coupling since Season 2 and find it faintly mystifying that everyone else didn't see it coming.

Either way--I can't help you math, but I'd love to rewatch parts of it with you!

That was not the thing :) Don't get spoiled though!

My prediction is that, since they haven't even started filming yet, they will hold Season 8 until WINTER of 2019 because DUH WINTER. Plus, then they can use it to remind everyone that Westworld exists because I think they are hoping GoT fans will crossover to that and not cancel their HBO subscriptions.

So if that is true, we can start the rewatch in early 2018 :) I will let you know!

Cool! Yeah, I'm not into WestWorld either. I just get the DVDs from the library (for obvious reasons, heh).

Here's a question: Do we have confirmation yet that Rhaegar Targaryon is Jon Snow's real father? Because I was under the impression that was still a fan theory. The OMG INCEST! reactions I'm seeing everywhere seem to indicate otherwise.

LOL, I know, it's a bit weird for me too. This isn't quite the same bc it's something I guessed and had inferred from various fan theories and my own speculation from reading the books, so I'm cool with it.
