orangerfulYeesh, I leave for a few days and my hotmail account is suddenly "approaching critical". Most of the e-mail is from Livejournal though, which is quite cool cuz it means people like my icons. Yay! Dancing Angel and Dancing Wes are getting a lot of love. which is good cuz it took so long to cap those silly scenes. But I love them. landbeforetime with a Dogma icon, the bit where Alanis does the cartwheel. Makes me want to pull out the DVD and cap that scene to make my own hehe.
Fun trip. Train ride was pretty long, but we kept occupied. Only sketchy part was on the way up, must have been about 2am, some crazy dude got on for one stop. He was mumbling to himself and whistling. He was either mentally challenged or drunk as hell. But that only lasted for 20 minutes, then he was gone. Had my Lobster, so I am happy. Got to see Becky and my Uncle Jim, which was so much fun. I think they are probably the only two people who can talk as much as me haha. They need to come hang out with me for more than a day though. Honestly, we need time to breathe. I felt like we were trying to get all of our talking done in one day because we didn't know when we'd see each other again. Jim mentioned to my mom that he miht be down this way in September or October, which would be very nice. Mike & Peggy were there too, both in good spirits. Unfortunately my Uncle Tom's mother died the same week, so my folks had to go to a funeral and my poor aunt and cousin were pretty much out of the picture. They stopped in but they were so exhausted.
Hm....Olympics are using the theme some from "Brisco County Jr" in their commercials, what is up with that? We watched the opening ceremonies, zany as usual. I liked the countdown of all the different places the olympics took place. Watched the gymnasts yesterday but had to run out of the room when the Russian popped his finger out. NASTAY!
Almost time for Six Feet Under and Dead Like Me to start on the west coast channels. I called Monica and told her I was not going to babysit tomorrow. I need a day to recover from the train. My nails are so freakin' long, it's grossing me out. So tomorrow will be a self-maintenance day.
I have about 10 pages of friends journals to read. And Six Feet Under just started. I'll complain about amazing race later. hehe.
EDIT: okay, I've gone back 280 entries and I don't think I've read all of the ones I missed. This will have to continue tomorrow. I am SO itchin to make some icons.
