Rockwell Church was awesome as usual. Lots of fun had tonight. Managed to get there and actually snag a table! We've never had a table at Jammin Java. Also, AD hooked up the mini-disc to the soundboard, so the show should sound pretty good. Nathan played a new song, which I really liked but the lyrics will be dated pretty fast as they mention both the election and the red sox. But it doesn't matter, as it was just loverly. Joti played "Don't Fear the Reaper" several times and demanded more cowbell, so someone in the audience started clanking on their beer bottle. It was amusing. I love RC shows, I always laugh and the music always sounds good.

Working tomorrow from 1-7. which blows as Jem is playing in Annapolis at 5pm and I'm gonna miss it. Alex said he's try to snag me an autograph. AD might go if he gets brave enough. *sigh* hopefully she'll come back again soon and play a club. She played Fletchers awhile back, and I missed that due to laziness. hm.

I feel as though I had more to say but right now I'm mucho tired and need to sleep so I can wake up tomorrow and pretend to sell clothes. (Wardrobe Sale started today, so tomorrow will either be insane or dead...the day before halloween, are people really shopping for Limited clothes??).

Oh, we rented "Saved" and it was very amusing. If only because we've all met that scary religious person that Mandy Moore plays. Plus it had a lot of actors and actresses that I like so it was fun to watch. I'm giving it a thumbs up. Good for a laugh.

AD also bought me Bespin Leia and RotJ Lando! Guess I have to re-arrange the shelves to fit them into my OT collection! :-)

SAved?

Seriously, we're friends and all, but I can't believe so many of my friends try to tell me "Saved!" was good. I wanted to kill myself the entire time I watched that movie. It hurt my brain physically and mentally. Stupid bible beaters, and dumb girl getting knocked up by "straight homosexuals." I actually believed the people who made and wrote that movie must have been so high on dope that Scooby Doo would walk through one of the scenes at any moment.

The movie made me want to scream "Oh Rapture!!! Rapture!!!!"

But at least you like Star Wars and Buffy. :P :) and Eternal Sunshine :) One bad movie isn't so bad :) Oh! lest we forget Eddie Izzard. :)

I just enjoyed the movie cuz the people who lived across the street from me in Maryland City were psycho-christians like that. They were so stupid, they wouldn't let their daughter come with me to see Pocahontas because it "preached Paganism". So I enjoyed laughing at how stupid/bigoted/naive/hipocritical they were in the movie. I feel so bad for kids who are raised under such brainwashing oppression. And since it's usually overly rich white kids, they are totally unprepared for the real world after they get out of their academies.

I'm not gonna buy a copy, but i enjoyed it. Plus, I like the girl from Donnie Darko and the guy from Almost Famous.

Oh, and did you know it was written by UMBC students? hehe.

:-P We all have our differences. I want to see Shaun of the Dead!!!
