Okay, so I finally finished Heather's Mix and my 2004 Best of mix. The 2004 mix is heavily padded with live tracks/re-releases because I didn't have a whole lot of tune-age going for me. There were also a lot of albums that came out back in the beginning of the year that I listened to for about 2 months then sorta forgot about until I was trying to find tunes this month. So I picked random tracks off of there. The only track that I didn't preview was a track off of "American Idiot" haha. Green Day, yikes! [livejournal.com profile] imabandmagnet suggested her favorite track, and honestly I just needed to know which to add because i don't have time to listen to the CD at the moment. So hopefully it won't suck. I filled that CD to the brim - overburned for 10 seconds. I'm previewing it right now, so far so good. EDIT: The Green Day song is totally the single they have been playing on WRNR, so not only had I heard it before, I liked it. So *phew*

I also made a mix for a buddy at The Limited. She has always been very nice to me and she's a cool chick. Caught her groovin' to the Sting song that is on the current Limited mix and said I'd hook her up and then some. So I made her a mix today, with tunes that made me think of her or that I thought she'd get a kick out of. I listened to it and I liked it, so I'm going to burn myself a copy haha.

I have to say the Jem album was probably my favorite real album of 2004. I got the frou frou song from the Garden State soundtrack, which is cheating because it's probably a couple years old. AD downloaded the frou frou CD though and I really like it so I might buy the rest of their albums.

glad you liked! looking forward to your mix next time we hang (which should be soon because we have silent hill 4 and mario party action waiting!)
