Okay, I need to go clothes shopping. As much as I loathe the whole process, I have nothing to wear to work. It's driving me nuts. This seems to be a bad time for fashion too as I was just browsing Hechts and Kohls online and they have nothing interesting to offer. I'd like to get some skirts and tops, maybe a nice dress to wear every so often. Mom offered to do a shopping trip with me, but after browsing Kohl's online selection, I'm not very excited. Ah well. Wasn't going to be able to go anytime soon since I'm working most of this week. Looks like I'm free friday, so maybe we'll go out Friday evening. Yesssss...a plan is forming.

I did a bit of DDR on sunday morning, trying to get myself into a workout schedule. I should have done it today too but I was lured in by Sims 2...and the fact that I showered right when I got up. Maybe tomorrow I'll just wake up and DDR a bit. Need to get back into some resemblance of shape. It wouldn't matter, but I know that as soon as the pool opens up, Skylor and Snowden will be begging me to go swimming...gotta feel a bit more comfortable with my body before I attempt that.

(there are two babies hugging in the middle of the library right now. so cute.)



Yeah, Sims 2 was calling to me this morning. Last night, I took the remaining teenagers that I had an sent them to college, plus all the townies that they had crushes on. I put them all in the same dorm too, which might have been a bad idea, as that's 6 sims to control in a 3 level building. My plan is to move at least one of them to the greek house eventually. I still haven't moved Shaak Ti Curious out of her house yet, as going to school glitch popped up there and she missed the bus. Maybe I should just have her go right now. I like to keep them teenagers as long as I can and build up their skills so they can get scholarships. But I think she had 2 or 3 already. Maybe I'll move her into her sister's dorm. Luminara, her sister, is in the middle of a little luv triangle. Before I moved them to school, Luminara was in love with Hamlet. But after they arrived at college, Luminara hit it off with Zaphod and now they are engaged. But she still constantly wants to flirt with Hamlet. And just to top it off, she totally used this other guy, Phoenix, by flirting with him then asking him to do her term paper. This morning, she woo-hooed with Zaphod and apparently they were quite loud because Hamlet and Phoenix barged into the room and smacked Luminara upside the face. So I'm trying to find someone new for Hamlet.

In the other dorm, we have Hamlet's younger siblings, Ariel and Sebastian, along with some townies that my kids had been flirting with - River, Tiffany and Barbara. I thought I had all my matches made, but now that I am in control of Tiffany and Barbara, I see that they are both slutty romance aspiration people. Grrrr. So I'm making Tiffany excel at her classes so I can change her aspiration and have her hook up with Sebastian, who is madly in love with her. I have to do that with Ariel as well, since her romance aspiration is already annoying me. River is Jill's boyfriend (though at the time I thought he was a she...ah well). River has family aspiration and Jill is experience aspiration, which is good.

*phew* it's actually been quite steady at the library today.
At least I can look forward to a new episode of "House" when I get home...and a yummy dinner cuz AD had steak thawing yesterday. mmmmm...steak...

I'm not sure if they're in at Kohls, but Prairie Skirts are a good look for spring/summer if mixed with sandals and a tank. Plus if you add fancy shoes and accessories they work great for nights out too. I recommend H&M, you can find a store with their Store Locator. I also so some cuteness at Target last time I went.

The Sims 1 ate me last night, so I understand your lure, I am making Lost and Alias sims, like a loser.

If you get a chance, I was thinking it might be easier for both of us if I walked you through a banner tutorial over AIM, so you could ask questions and clarify things. And then I could post the general tutorial for reference. Do you think that would work for you?

ah, H&M, I have heard many good things about that store. One just opened up at Arundel Mills, I guess I should actually go inside it next time.

Back when I was playing Sims 1, I had a whole Buffy town. I got mad though because I made Buffy and Angel not compatible. So I quit playing hehe. I do have a Padme and Anakin couple in my Sims 2, I just haven't played them as much. AD made an Angel as well.

It might be easier that way. I need to pick out some images to work with since I'd rather not just re-make your banner. Let me plot out a banner idea then we can do it later in the week (after you're done with classes and such). I really do appreciate your help!

oh, can you give me a suggestion on choosing pictures? How do you choose your main images?

For the main image I try to pick a large, high-res image with either a subdued background, nothing too busy. Publicity shots are your best bet for size and quality.

For secondary images I try to pick something with a solid color background. Or a background that is mostly white or mostly black. This image can be anything, a rough sketch like in mine, or a screen cap. This image will be shrunken down from it's original and will be a bit small, so the quality doesn't have to be as high, so a normal screen cap will do.

yes, I recommend staying below three. I usually work with two, but three when I get the inspiration. Yes, I have all the images for the Destiny banner on my computer. I'm free tomorrow night after around 8:30 or so, I can do it then if you'd like.

go to h&m like i told you before silly! go to h&m! and also check out the benneton outlet, it's more pricey but sometimes they have good sale stuff, i love their pants. and there is a banana republic and gap outlet also. and off 5th. :)

it's a great workout, but the best part is that I'm having fun so I don't notice the work out (unlike jogging, where the whole time I'm thinking "this sucks, why am I running ot nowhere")
