Jan. 12th, 2003 01:23 amFinally got up to the level on buffy that I am stuck at on AD's xbox. Freakin' vampire turns into a tiger thing and kicks my butt. Actually, I was doing really well, but I didn't know I had to stake him. Used up all my health elixirs too. I'll try again tomorrow.
My throat is doing weird things. It's feels sore right now. Didn't feel sore all day and suddenly now. I feel like I'm allergic to something. Maybe it's the red fusion.
Going to buy vincent a second xbox controller tomorrow so he will quit his complaining. Not that they make two player games anymore. But he just wants to team up on Halo. There is supposedly a buffy arena mode but you have to type in a code and I suck at those. Vincent can probably figure it out. Then I can kick his butt as buffy. I might by Simpsons road rage tomorrow too. That would be sweet. only $20 on PS2. I enjoy that game far too much.
We watched a big chunk of Episode II in Spanish yesterday. It was actually really good. Anakin was less annoying. The matched the lips so perfectly I almost feel like ILM went in and digitally made them match. By the way, since when is "Relax" a french word??? (watch the dub of anakin and obi talking in the elevator)
I think it's all that ADR stuff that screws some of these actors up. I mean, Hayden Christiensen might have sounded fine on the set, but coming in and pretty much re-dubbing the entire movie has got to make it lose some of the magic. Maybe that's why the little boba kid was so horrid.
I thought the extra bit of dialogue between padme and anakin after the tusken slaughter was really good. In fact, it should never have been cut. Best bit of acting by poor portman in the whole film. It was just a good moment. I think George should hire me as editor for Ep III.
Right, I'm gonna go read "Lathe of Heaven" and see what George Orr dreams up next. Very interesting book and the plot just thickened as Lelache saw the world change too. She knows George isn't crazy now.
