gaming injury
Jan. 14th, 2003 12:24 amI think I hurt my hand playing xbox and playstation. Like, the way I hold the controller stretched out my palm or something because I keep getting a little pain in the middle of it every not and then. Like when I flex it. That can't be good. It's gone away for a bit. Odd.
Adrian is visiting tomorrow and the rest of the week! yay! double yay! Triple yay! Honestly I need to invest in a thesauraus.
I started working on a demo tape to send out with my DJ application to towson. The wmbc tapes sound horrible though so I might have to make a few fake ones just to have them. I babbled so much and goofed off so much at WMBC but that's because I knew i could. It was my hour and my show. I know that if I'm at a real radio station you don't act like that. For some reason though, it seems people dont have the same amount of common sense as I do, as I've had Alex and Marty at the radio station explain stuff to me that seems painfully obvious. Perhaps all my American Studies courses HAVE taught me something and truly prepared me for this line of work. Cuz thinking outside the box seems to be a part of it.
I'm about half way thru Lathe of Heaven now. I'm really liking it though that A&E movie loses points every day. I can't remember the old PBS one as well, and I might have to go buy it or something so I can refresh my memory. George just dreamed of a plague and wiped out six billion non existent people. I think he's gonna meet up with the lawyer lady now and try to figure out how to bring Haber down. Because he is really out of control! He tried to make George dream of peace on earth, but since dreams happen in the unconcsious and somewhat irrational part of the mind, he dreamed about aliens attacking the earth and living on the moon! At least he also dreamed himself a nice cabin in the woods.
