[livejournal.com profile] marmistheman just posted pics of some RotS legos coming out this year. Mattel just announced a new line of "young adult" Harry Potter products set for release in 2005. Puppet Angel comes out March 23rd and Diamond Select Toys has no only come through with Wesley and Lorne figure, but they are also planning on making Angel and Fred figures along with a line of "Firefly" crew members!

Maybe by the time they are all released I'll have a full time job and money to burn. (Puppet Angel I am getting with xmas cash, I've already decided).

I'm having major icon/graphics block. I keep cropping photos then staring at them, then closing them one by one. I made one icon for a contest last night, but I'm not sure if I want to enter it. I was just playing with some backgrounds I'd downloaded and I liked the way it looked, but I'm not sure it makes sense to anyone but me. Ah well.

Ivan called this morning from WCO and I scheduled a TON of hours for the next few months. I think he just calls me first now because he knows I have nothing better to do with my time. I think I'll have enough hours in May to pay off the Star Wars debt I plan to incur in April hehe.
Working at Crofton 5-9 tonight. I'm betting it will be dead as everyone assumes the library is closed because the schools are all closed right now.

Okay, I don't actually remember placing this book on hold for myself, but apparently I did. It's the Episode III prequel novel "Labyrinth of Evil". I can't decide if I want to read it or not, I mean, there's bound to be some spoiler factors in there. Plus, I haven't read a star wars novel since Timothy Zahn's original trilogy with Grand Admiral Thrawn. Perhaps I shall flip through it and see how it is. Usually I can't stand novelizations. I just brought back the BtVS novel I was attempting. I just can't get into reading the fight scenes. Plus, the characters just didn't seem right. I know Xander was cranky season 3 but he wasn't that cranky. I like my buffy books to be academic.

It's been pretty quiet here tonight. Oh, I'm at West County, btw. Apparently they have some kind of librarian flu going around so I was "traded" (as Ivan put it) from CRO to WCO. So, now I'm here 4 days this week. So silly. They should just hire me at this point hehe. But then, no one would get to take days off if I was full time.

I'm gonna flip through this star wars book even though I'm not done with "Artemis Fowl" yet. It's a challenge to see how many books I can be "reading" at one time.
