01). Total volume of music files on my computer? I'm guesstimating about 500 - since the folder for ripped ipod songs alone has 261, plus I have a ton of random stuff on here....

02). The last CD I bought was..Dave Matthews Band - Stand Up (Last CD I "recieved" was the Angel Soundtrack, my babysitting payment from Alex)

03a). The last song I listened to before writing this was...Dave Matthew Band - Season for Loving (cover from last night's concert)

03b). Song playing right now: nothing really, though "The Blower's Daughter" by Damien Rice is in my head because we just watched "Closer"

04). Five songs I listen to a lot or that mean a lot to me.
1. I Love Myself Today - Bif Naked, cuz it just feels good to sing along
2. I Need To Be Next To You - Leigh Nash, closest thing AD & I have to "our song"
3. Only Living Boy In New York - Paul Simon, because I've listened to it too many times already and still love it
4. Norweigan Wood - Beatles....well anything by the Beatles really, always makes me feel nostalgic
5. Sand in My Shoes - Dido, another one that I enjoy singing along to and because it makes me think of my trip to Australia, how I felt when I got back...guess how I still sorta feel...

05). Which 6 people are you passing this baton to & why?
jimithingy - cuz he hardly ever updates his journal and he'll need something to do while I'm at work tomorrow. :-)
destertale - because she called me the DJ the other day...*shrugs*
marmistheman - because his taste in music is so...so very Andrew.
to_each_her_own - because she always has time to post at work! So why not give her some content besides making me hungry for wings?
miss_tinkermel - because she's the newest member of this madness and I want to know more about her.
gypsyjr - because she seems bummed out right now and maybe this will help brighten her mood

Yay for tbe Beatles.. have you ever heard "The Beatles on Panpipes?" it's truly terrible.. all the songs sound like bad MIDI files.

haha, no haven't heard that one. I have heard "Bach on Abbey Road", which is Beatles tunes done in the style of Bach...very odd stuff. I used to have the King Singer's Beatles' album too, which was kinda cool, but not really something I listen to very often.

Side note- what did you think of Closer? The nicest thing I could say about it was I liked the song.

It was weird and a bit messed up. Clive Owen is an odd looking dude. I believed his love for Julia Roberts character, but Jude Law and Natalie Portman's relationship never felt very true to me. Perhaps it was because she was so young, or maybe because he was so much older. Either way, I really stopped caring about what happened to the two of them. It was a bit crude/rude for my taste. I didn't know it had actually been a stage play, I'm wondering how many scene changes it had...

meh, I've seen it, I don't think I'll ever watch it again. Though I did start to giggle when I realized Natalie Portman had someone gotten her hair back from "The Professional". She looked like she was 10 again!
