I'm hoping they will put out some nice Ep III - IV books for adults soon. There is already one book called "Last of the Jedi" which is a pre-teen series. Sadly, AACPL doesn't have it, but Howard county does so I might try to order it from them once SW fever dies down. I'm in a prequel book mood. I dunno why, but I don't mind EU durin gthe prequels...perhaps because I don't consider them as sacred to me as the OT. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm thinking I might read the book prequels to each movie, now that I've read Labrynth of Evil and enjoyed it.

and why are there no young adult star wars novels? Are teens too cool to read that stuff? wtf? YA is where the smut is!



I need to make a "geek and proud of it" icon, or something to that effect, to use on these sorta posts.

Is it a faux-paus to use the same banner for ones website and ones LJ? I really like my website banner and I can't seem to make an LJ banner that looks as good. I'm not the graphics maker I should be, I want more. MORE IMAGES! I don't care if the banner is only 250 x 600, I want to cram as many fandoms as I can into that space.

oh I'm not ashamed of the library, otherwise I wouldn't work there. ;-) I was more ashamed of the fact that I had so many star wars childrens books checked out. I mean, shouldn't I be reading some classics or something!

I didn't even know they had a Harry Potter and Philosophy book. o.O

*laughs* I think I quoted the only steamy part of the book, but it was sweet. :) It did, though, mention once, Anakin 'hungering' for Padme. Ay Caramba! I had heard that in the EU there was a woman that Obi-Wan was close to, but I can't remember her name, nor their story. I don't think, though, that it got any further than a close friendship.

I was thinking about titling my colorbar, if I ever get around to making it, as 'Padawan Devotion is Love'. Whaddya think?

I don't know anything about the etiquette between websites and LJs, but I'd figure it wouldn't be a problem. A) you like the banner, and B) I think it could help people to associate your site better with you, you know, visually. :)

Yay! I figured out which images I want to use, but I still need to re-size a couple. And, I was thinking about making a couple differing ones because there are so many pics that I'd like to use. You know, have a little variety. :)

Seriously... I remember stumbling across a Matrix and philosophy book, but I wouldn't touch it with a ten-ft pole because I figured it would go places that my mind probably could really conceive of. o.O
