Toys toys glorious toys - Hasbro has announced at Comic-Con that a few more Star Wars action figures will be hitting stores before the year is over! Rebelscum has pictures! Just keep clicking 'next' to get a look at the entire line -- more 3 1/2" and Galactic Heroes! So cute! I love the little camo troopers (even though the bastards tried to shoot Yoda in the back!!!)

I was the best babysitter ever today. Or the worst, depending on if you're the kid or the adult. I got there at 10, we played with star wars toys, ate lunch, went to the library for the Zoo program, checked out books, went out for ice cream, and ended up at Toys R Us. I let them get one star wars toy each. Skylor opted for a lego set of an Imperial Shuttle and Snowden saw Mon Mothma. She asked if she talked to Padme, I said yes, so she wanted her. That amused me. It was really hot and humid today (and I can see the storm clouds rolling in right now). We were melting in the hot car but we survived.

I was going to make icons for contests, but then AD said GUILD WARS, and I got sucked in. I really can only take that game for like an hour or two then I get insanely bored. Usually, this happens when we're in the middle of freakin' nowhere so I can't quit without losing everything I've done or causing AD to lose whatever battle he's heading off to fight. It's sort of annoying. I really wanted to make some graphics but now it's midnight and I'm tired. shitty beetles.

Tomorrow I work 1-5 at Provinces, then I'm off to Barnes & Nobles in Ellicot City to wait in line for Harry Potter. Which reminds me, I need to look up where this freakin place is!

Meh, I'll do that in the morning. Must sleep now.

Thank you so much for posting the link to the toy pics! Hee! I can't wait for some of them, especially the Anakin Evolutions, whenever that's slated to be released. Aren't they also going to release another Unleashed series?

oh I know, I'm so excited!!! and at the star wars meeting Saturday, one of our insiders says that Hasbro plans on releasing Star Wars transformers! THose could be cool - a little boba that turns into Slave I, come on!

The Anakin Evolutions is OUT NOW! Someone had it at the meeting. Amazon.com has them up for sale too. I can't remember if they were a store exclusive or not.

Looks like the Unleashed series is being put to rest. At least, in it's current form. Hasbro has a handful left to release then they are shrinking them down and pretty much starting a new line. There are a few pictures out there of what those figures look like and they are not nearly as cool as the current Unleashed. Aw well.

Evolutions is already out??? Damn! I really hate my state's lack of availability. I s'pose I'll just have to break down and order it. (Heh, I talked B into ordering the green starfighter with starpilot!Anakin for me. And, he picked up the last Asajj Unleashed for me, as well. Hee!) I ran across a site that looked like Tarkin was already out. I suppose I'll be ordering more action figures than I had originally hoped. But, at least I can still obtain them, right? :D

I saw pics of some Clone Unleashed, and one of Han in Stormtrooper gear, which I'm eyeballing. *laughs* But what do you mean, not nearly as cool? Not nearly as well done? Don't resemble the characters as well? That sucks because I really like them. :(

wee, turns out my mom ordered "Evolutions" for me from Amazon.com! She's so cool.

The Tarkin wave has been VERY hard to find around here, they were saying that some stores just neve bothered to put them out. I also heard that Target will be doing their big store changeover at the end of this month, so everyone is hoping they'll drag out the other toys then.

the Han & Clone unleashed are the last of the 12" line. After that they are shrinking them down to a 2" line with "2 points of articulation"...all of the unleashed collector's of the DCSWCC are quite upset about it.

Yeah, all we've found at out Target was Capt. Antilles, Zett Jukasa, and the Tantive IV/Mustafar micro set. Still looking for starpilot!Obi-Wan and a couple of Anakins, like Crispykin and Mustafar!Anakin, I think. :)

Are you serious that they're shrinking the Unleashed series? Why ever for? *grumbles*

yeah, most of the collector's on my yahoo!list were upset about the Unleashed line being literally shrunken. But apparently, hardly anyone bothered to buy the unleashed at full price, so Hasbro got sick of always selling them all "on sale". I'm guessing the small models will have a lower price point (but I doubt they could look as cool)

That's strange because the only one I saw on sale was Aayla Secura, and that was but only a few weeks ago, so she had been on the market for a while now. *shrugs* I never minded paying the $15 for them... I always thought they were worth it. My only mistake was assuming that Luke and Leia would be out longer than they were. But, there's always the internet. :D Now, I'm just on the hunt for the Vader one...

Heh, I don't know if I can do any more small toys... we keep losing Lego parts and the wee little micro series characters. o.O *laughs*
